Emma was at a loss. What does the saleslady mean by this?
Seeing the changes in her face, her friend, Sophie, stood up and approached the saleslady to intimidate her.
Lifting her hand to pat the saleslady’s shoulder, Sophie said, "Are you pissed that we made you stand as a dress model? Is that why you’re lying in our faces? This is why poor bitches like you can never get far in their lives. You’re filled with pride even though it cannot fill your wallet. What’s the use of that? Just bow down your head and apologize, then we might save you this job and not fire you."
The saleslady shook in fear and anger. "I’m not lying. You can ask the store manager if you want!"
Then, she turned around to leave.
However, Sophie couldn’t allow herself to be disrespected like this. Especially, not in front of Emma, the chairman of Westwood Group’s younger sister!
"You poor bitch! See if I don’t give you a lesson!" Sophie grabbed the saleslady by the hair.
"AH!"
The saleslady was scared for her life as her hair was caught in Sophie’s hands. She struggled to escape, but who knew Sophie would take this opportunity to use her nails to scratch the saleslady’s face?!
Emma and her other friend, Trisha Browne, watched as Sophie terrorized the saleslady. They did nothing to stop this. Instead, they took pleasure in seeing the bloodied face of the saleslady and hoped she would regret ever thinking she could be anything but a worm under their feet!
"What the hell are they doing?" the store manager, who had just finished the transaction for Lucy’s purchase, stared in shock as that one spot became a one-sided war.
Although they were far from them, Sophie’s voice was too loud and rang inside the store like a megaphone.
Because of this, some passersby couldn’t help but stop in front of the store to spectate.
Embarrassed and confused about why this happened inside the store, the store manager stepped forward to stop the situation from escalating.
But just as she took her first step, a hand shot up to grab her, stopping the store manager from advancing forward.
Looking back to the owner of her hand, the store manager frowned. "Ma’am, please let go."
"Why? Are you going to stop them?" Lucy asked as if it wasn’t the obvious answer.
"Of course! This will ruin the store’s image if I don’t go and stop them." The store manager tried to brush off Lucy’s hand, but she was surprised that she had not budged from where she stood.
At first, she thought the woman looked frail because of her pale complexion, but the strength in her hand was no joke!
"Ma’am, can’t you let go?" the store manager stopped struggling and looked at Lucy straight in the eye.
Lucy smiled and said, "I will. But don’t go there just yet."
"Yet? Why?"
"This store has been here for a long time and serviced powerful and wealthy people. Yet, these girls dared to make a scene and did not care if the store would be affected by their actions..."
