The Billionaire’s Fight For Redemption (Noah and Sierra) novel Chapter 260

“Are you sure you’re five?” Gunner teases.

She laughs, rolling her eyes dramatically. “Of course I am.”

She’s about to continue when footsteps interrupt her.

“It’s time for bed, Nova.”

Noah steps into the room, Nolan at his side, wearing the same serious expression he always does.

“Can’t we stay a little longer?” Nova pleads, hopping off the couch. “Maybe we can join you for game night.”

“Nope,” Noah replies flatly. “You’re going to bed right now.”

She pouts, slipping her hand into his. “But why can’t we join? It’s just playing games.”

“They don’t play games,” Nolan says matter-of-factly. “They just sit, drink, and discuss things.”

Nova blinks. “What things?”

Nolan shrugs. “Maybe girls.”

“Seriously, Nolan?” Noah groans, dragging a hand down his face.

“What? It’s true.”

“That’s enough,” Noah says firmly. “Bed. Now. And I don’t want to hear any lip from either of you.”

Before either twin can argue, Noah calls for the nanny, who herds them upstairs. Once they’re out of sight, Noah gestures for us to follow him and we head to his game room.

“Drink?” Noah asks, already pouring.

“Obviously,” Gunner says.

I nod. “Just a little.”

“I didn’t want to say it in front of the kids,” Gunner mutters, leaning back, “but you look like shit.”

“Speak for yourself, asshole.”

“Does this have to do with what happened?” Gunner presses, leaning forward.

I frown, looking between them. “What happened?”

Both of them turn to look at me. Noah’s brows knit together, suspicion flickering across his face, while Gunner squints like he’s trying to decide whether I’m messing with him.

“You didn’t see it?” Gunner asks.

“No,” I answer honestly. “You know I don’t read gossip.”

I’ve never bothered with that stuff. Why waste my time on other people’s drama when I could focus on my own life?
