I switch it off and pick up a book, but I eventually put it down when minutes after opening it, I’m still stuck on the same page, reading the same line.

My Mind keeps circling on one thought like a vulture. I need proof. Proof that Jocely did this. Proof that she’s targeting me.

If I can get that proof, then maybe I can get her kicked out of the company for good. I’ve tolerated her for years, but I’ve had enough.

I could seek her out and try to get her to confess again, but that’s pointless. Jocelyn isn’t stupid; she’ll sense I’m up to something.

I turn everything inside my head, but I get nothing. I know they won’t find anything because I’m cleaning, but the fact that Jocelyn made that damn report is something I can’t forgive.

Sighing, I lean back against the couch. Maybe I should just accept Lilly’s help. All I need is proof that she made a false report, right? Then I can do the rest myself.
