The Billionaire’s Fight For Redemption (Noah and Sierra) novel Chapter 314

“She didn’t owe you a fucking thing,” my mom cuts in sharply.

“That’s my grandchild she’s carrying!” Aunt Ava fires back.

“And that’s my daughter you’re pointing fingers at!” my mom shoots back without missing a beat. “I’m not going to stand here and let you treat her like she committed some kind of crime.”

The air between them crackles with tension, and for a moment they just stare at each other, two mothers standing their ground.

“You should have told me,” Aunt Ava says, her voice quieter now but still laced with hurt. “I deserved to know.”

My mom crosses her arms.

“Is that so?” she asks coolly. “Then why didn’t your own son tell you? It takes two to tango, Ava, so I don’t understand why you’re putting all the blame on Sierra while your son is standing right there.”

Aunt Ava’s gaze shifts between Noah and me, confusion and hurt flashing across her face.

Mom doesn’t let up. “Before you start blaming Sierra, did it ever cross your mind that the one who didn’t want you finding out was your son?”

“No… no…” Aunt Ava whispers, her eyes slowly moving to Noah.

“Did you know Noah asked her to abort the child?” Mom asks coldly.

The words land like a slap, and for a moment the room seems to freeze. Aunt Ava goes completely still, and so does everyone else.

“What?”

“You heard me,” my mom continues, her eyes blazing. “Before you start talking about what you deserve, maybe you should ask your son what he said and did to my daughter the moment he found out she was pregnant.”

Aunt Ava slowly turns toward Noah, and the shock on her face begins to harden into something darker.

“Noah…” she whispers.

Noah looks like he wants the floor to swallow him whole and stays

My mom scoffs, the sound sharp and bitter.

“Exactly,” she mutters. “Real brave when you were hurting, Sierra, but suddenly quiet now.”

The room feels suffocating. Aunt Ava stares at Noah like she’s seeing him for the first time, disbelief and anger warring across her face.

“Tell me that’s not true,” she says slowly, her voice trembling. “Tell me you didn’t say that to her.”

Noah doesn’t answer. His jaw tightens, his eyes dropping to the floor, but that silence says everything.

Aunt Ava inhales sharply, as if the air has been knocked straight out of her lungs.
