The Billionaire’s Fight For Redemption (Noah and Sierra) novel Chapter 322

SIERRA.

I wake up to my head and hand resting on warm skin.

At first, I think it’s just a dream or maybe my imagination until I feel the steady heartbeat beneath my palm and the slow rise and fall of a chest under my cheek.

My eyes flutter open and for a moment, I just lie there, disoriented, trying to piece together why I’m not in my usual sleeping position. The room is still dim, morning light barely slipping through the curtains.

Then memory slowly returns and my gaze drifts upward, and there he is.

Adrian is still asleep, lying on his back, one arm loosely wrapped around my shoulders like he pulled me closer sometime during the night. His breathing is slow and even, his face relaxed in a way I’ve rarely seen.

Without the usual alertness in his eyes, he looks younger somehow. Softer.

My hand is resting on the warm bare skin of his chest, right over his heart.

Carefully, I shift my head slightly so I can look at him better, a faint smile playing at my lips.

My fingers move slightly against his chest, tracing the steady rhythm of his heartbeat and for the first time in what feels like forever, waking up feels peaceful.

There’s no knot of anxiety in my stomach. No lingering ache from yesterday’s chaos. Just peace.

As if sensing my movement, his arm tightens around me a little. His eyes open slowly, still hazy with sleep, and when they land on me, the corner of his mouth lifts into a sleepy smile.

“Morning, Princess,” he murmurs, his voice rough from sleep.

I can’t help the wetness that rushes out of me, because damn, his morning voice is so damn good.

“Morning, handsome," I say, kissing his chin.

His gaze softens as he studies my face.

“You look and sound better," he says quietly.

I smile, my cheek still resting against him. “That’s because you were here, and you spent the night… That alone will make any girl feel better if she wasn’t.”

He chuckles softly, the sound rumbling beneath my ear.

“I don't know about other girls, but I know you," he says, brushing a strand of hair away from my face. “And if I’m the cure, well, you can use me anytime you need me.”

We moan at the same time when I start rubbing myself against him.

My panties are soaked, and I can feel his hard length against me, and fuck, does it feel deliciously good.

“Fuck, Sierra," he groans, breaking the kiss. “If you don’t stop, I won’t be able to hold back and I’ll take you right here. Right now.”

Those words slow my movements until I eventually stop. I fall on him, my head against his as we both try to catch our breath.

“I’m sorry," I tell him the moment I can form a thought.

He pushes my hair to the side and pecks my forehead before asking, “Why are you apologizing?”

“Because I’m the one that got us this hot and bothered and then stopped.”

“I did ask you to stop," he points out, smiling a little.

“I would have eventually," I sigh. “I want you, Adrian, I’m not gonna lie. I want you so bad, I’m practically aching, but I also don’t want us to have sex while I’m still carrying another man’s baby.”
