The Billionaire’s Fight For Redemption (Noah and Sierra) novel Chapter 408

I don’t know what to say to that, because it just feels so impossible.

“How? How can you erase her like that?” I ask before I can stop myself. “You loved her unconditionally.”

I wasn’t trying to be a dick; I was just trying to understand.

“I didn't love her,” he says immediately.

I shake my head. “That’s not true.”

“It is, Sierra," he insists, his jaw tightening. “I know my own feelings.”

“And I know you, Noah.” I let out a small, disbelieving breath. “You might not love her now, but you did. You can’t tell me you didn’t.”

He stays silent, but I don’t let it go.

“If you didn’t love her, then why did you choose her over and over again? Why did you spend years with her?” I continue, my voice steady despite everything. “If you didn’t love her, why did you start a relationship with her? Why did you propose? Why did you marry her? Why did you build a life with her and have kids with her? Why did you lose it when she died?”

His hands tighten on the steering wheel, his knuckles turning white.

“If you didn’t love her, Noah, then what was all of that?”

He doesn’t answer, but his jaw tightens.

I lean back slightly, watching him. “You can deny it all you want, but the proof is there. You spent years with her. Years, Noah And when she left you that one time, you still went back when she called.”

“I didn’t go willingly. She manipulated me with a lie,” he says sharply.
