Before either of them could say anything else, Logan’s voice suddenly interrupted the moment.
"Sir, is there anything you need me to do?"
Both Sienna and Zachary turned to look at him.
Logan stood beside the dining table, waiting professionally for further instructions.
"Yes," Zachary answered firmly. "Leave us immediately. I need to collect my answer."
Logan frowned. "Answer?" he repeated, confused.
Sienna immediately felt her heartbeat quicken, remembering the answer she had promised him.
Meanwhile, Zachary’s expression remained completely calm. "Go."
However, Logan still looked confused. "Sir, what answer?"
Zachary’s expression tightened, "Stop asking, or you can say goodbye to your year-end bonus."
The impact of his words was immediate, causing Logan’s eyes to widen in surprise. "Have a wonderful evening, Sie... Miss Sienna..."
Before Zachary said something, Logan was already moving toward the door at an impressive speed.
A second later, the apartment door shut behind him, and silence immediately filled the room.
In the end, Sienna and Zachary found themselves all alone.
Suddenly, the answer Sienna had been trying not to think about no longer felt far away.
Sienna turned and headed toward the dining table, deliberately avoiding Zachary’s sharp yet gentle gaze. It was the kind of gaze that could make a person forget how to think properly.
Every time she looked into his eyes for too long, her heart seemed determined to embarrass her.
"Zach, I will—" She never got the chance to finish her sentence. Before the words could leave her mouth, Zachary was already standing beside her.
Without hesitation, he took the paper bag from her hands and casually began taking out the food boxes one by one.
"Let me help you," he said calmly.
Sienna stood beside him for a moment, caught off guard by how effortlessly he stepped in.
Then she nodded and walked toward the kitchen to get the cutlery.
A few seconds later, she returned to the dining table and took her place beside him while he continued arranging everything.
It was only then that she noticed where the food had come from.
She recognized the luxurious packaging. The meal was at an exclusive Japanese restaurant that accepted only select customers. Ordinary reservations were impossible, and getting a table there was considered a privilege. Even though she had heard about it many times, she had only tasted their food on rare occasions.
Within a few short minutes, Zachary had already arranged everything neatly across the table.
The Premium Sushi Platter sat at the center like a work of art. Beside it were a Wagyu Bento, an Unagi Kabayaki Bento, and an assortment of beautifully prepared fruit. The entire spread looked elegant enough to belong in a magazine rather than on her dining table.
Sienna couldn’t help staring at it for a moment.
Food like this wasn’t something she enjoyed regularly. The only times she ever ate meals from places this expensive were when Ava or Riley insisted on treating her. Otherwise, she would never willingly spend that much money on a single dinner.
Just when she thought everything had already been arranged, Zachary reached into another bag. He pulled out a bottle of wine before setting it carefully on the table.
