A warm smile appeared on Sienna’s face.

She slowly leaned against his shoulder and looked back toward the ocean. The peaceful view gradually eased the frustration that had built inside her after hearing Angie’s name.

She refused to let that vile woman ruin such a beautiful afternoon. Not today.

For a while, neither of them spoke.

The sound of the waves filled the silence between them until Zachary quietly broke it.

"Sienna."

"Hmm?"

"What do you want me to do about her?"

His question made her lift her head from his shoulder.

Sienna looked into his eyes and thought carefully.

She knew Zachary had more than enough influence to make Angie lose her career, face legal consequences, or even end up in prison if the evidence supported it.

But after everything that had happened, revenge no longer appealed to her the way it once might have. She simply wanted peace.

After a long moment of gathering her thoughts, she finally answered honestly. "I want nothing to do with her, and I just want her to stop bothering me."

Zachary listened quietly.

"I don’t want to spend my life worrying about what she’ll do next," Sienna continued. "I don’t want her to have another chance to hurt me or anyone else. I just want her to realize there are consequences for what she’s done and never, even for a second, think about bothering me or hurting me again."

Zachary looked at her with quiet admiration. He had expected his wife to ask him to destroy Angie’s career or pursue the harshest punishment possible.

Instead, her wish was surprisingly simple. She wasn’t asking for revenge. She was asking for peace.

A gentle smile spread across his face. He reached over and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before saying firmly, "Then I’ll make sure she can never harm you again."

Hearing those words, Sienna smiled with relief. She slipped her hand into his, and together they returned their attention to the endless blue sea, letting the peaceful sound of the waves wash away the last traces of Angie’s shadow from their afternoon.

Sienna and Zachary stayed on the beach for a little while longer, talking about their plans for the next day before slowly making their way back to the villa.

The afternoon sun had begun to set, painting the sky with warm shades of orange and gold. The peaceful atmosphere made them both wish they could stay a little longer, but they also missed Skylar and knew it was time to return home the following morning.

Once they arrived at the villa, Zachary headed straight for the kitchen to prepare dinner.

"I’ll cook tonight," he said confidently as he rolled up his sleeves.

Sienna laughed. "Should I be worried?"

He looked over his shoulder with an exaggerated expression of disbelief. "My wife, you’re still doubting my cooking?"

"I’m just making sure we’re eating dinner with a different menu." She playfully teased him.

Zachary chuckled. "Trust me."

"I do." She smiled at him before settling comfortably on the living room sofa with her phone. "I’ll call Sky first."

"Tell him I miss him."

"I will."

Sienna tapped the video call button.

It only took two rings for the screen to light up.

"Hello, Mommy!"

Skylar’s cheerful voice instantly filled the room, widening Sienna’s smile.

There he was, sitting on the playroom sofa at Lakeside Garden with his favorite stuffed dinosaur tucked under one arm.

"Hello, sweetheart," she greeted warmly. "How are you doing?"

Skylar’s smile disappeared almost immediately. "I’m not okay, Mom."

Sienna’s expression softened. "Why not?"

"Because I miss you."

His small voice tugged at her heart.
