The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife novel Chapter 125

Violation

Alina screamed.

The sound tore through her throat.

But no one came.

No one cared.

Daniel dragged her to the center of the room. His grip was like iron on her arm.

“Let me go!”

He slapped her face.

Hard.

Alina’s head jerked to the side. Her cheek burned.

“Quiet.”

His voice was no longer the voice of the husband she once knew.

This was the voice of a stranger.

A monster who had been hiding behind a mask of honor all along.

Alina tasted blood in her mouth. Split lip.

“Daniel, please-”

“Please?” He laughed. Bitter. Cruel. “You’re begging now? After you left Junior? After you planned to run away? After you made me look weak in front of everyone?”

He shoved her onto the bed.

Alina fell. Bounced on the mattress.

Tried to get up but Daniel was already on top of her.

His body weight pressing down. Trapping.

“Don’t do this.” Alina’s voice trembled. Tears streamed down her cheeks. “Daniel, don’t—”

“You’re my wife.” His hands ripped at the buttons of her shirt. “You’re mine. And I’m going to make you remember that.”

Alina struggled. Scratched. Tried to push him off.

But he was stronger.

Far stronger.

“STOP!”

She screamed again.

But the door was locked.

This house was too big.

Too quiet.

No one would hear.

Daniel pinned both her hands above her head with one hand. His other hand tore at her clothes.

“If you keep fighting, I’ll make it more painful.”

Alina’s breath came in gasps. Panic crawled through her chest like fire.

This was happening.

This was really happening.

“Daniel… please… don’t…” Her voice broke. “Don’t do this to me…”

Her eyes met Daniel’s.

And there-

No empathy.

No love.

Only possession.

Only control.

Junior’s bedroom door.

On the other side of the house.

Junior sat on the floor. Toys scattered around him.

But he wasn’t playing. Just sitting still.

Junior heard screaming. But he wasn’t sure because the sound was distant. Muffled.

He wasn’t sure if it was real or not.

“Mama?” Junior whispered uncertainly.

Mrs. Helen entered with a tray of milk. “Young Master Junior, it’s time to drink-”

“I heard someone screaming. Who was it?”

Mrs. Helen frowned. Her face confused.

“I didn’t hear anything, sir.”

Junior stood. His eyes wide. Frightened. “You didn’t hear anything? Didn’t you hear the screaming?”

“No, sir,” Mrs. Helen answered confidently because she had only heard silence.

“I’ll go check.”

Junior ran to the door but Clarissa suddenly appeared.

Blocking the way.

“What’s wrong, Junior? Where are you going?”

Junior stared at Clarissa. His mother was fine. Then who was he worried about? Junior felt his heart racing, worried about someone.

“Junior?” Clarissa asked again.

Junior looked at Clarissa with tears pooling in his eyes.

“It’s nothing,” he answered in a small voice. “I must have just misheard.”

Clarissa smiled. She approached Junior. “That’s right. You’d better go to sleep.”

Junior nodded. He turned with his head down, then walked to the bed.

Junior drank his milk. Clarissa came in and helped him lie down. Meanwhile, Mrs. Helen watched Junior in confusion, feeling anxious about something uncertain after seeing Junior.

“Sleep, sweetheart. Mommy will be here until you fall asleep,” Clarissa whispered gently.

Junior closed his eyes. Tears fell. In his chest, Junior felt increasingly restless. He wanted to go find someone. Save whoever might be in danger.

But Junior didn’t know who he should look for.

In Alina’s room.

Time stopped.

Or perhaps it passed too quickly.

Alina didn’t know anymore.

What she knew was the pain.

Physical.

Mental.

Emotional.

Everything merged into one unbearable chaos.

Daniel didn’t care about the screams.

Didn’t care about the tears.

Didn’t care about the pleas.

He just took what he thought was his right.

And when it was over-

He got up.

Straightened his clothes.

As if nothing had happened.

As if he hadn’t just destroyed someone.

Alina lay on the bed.

Not moving.

Her body hurt everywhere.

But worse was the emptiness in her chest.

Something inside her had broken.

Something that couldn’t be fixed.

Daniel walked to the door. Opened it.

Paused for a moment.

“Dr. Ross will come again next week: For a pregnancy retest.” His voice was flat. Bureaucratic. “This time, the results will be correct.”

He left.

Closed the door.

Locked it again from the outside.

Alina stared at the ceiling.

Tears flowed silently down her temples.

Into her hair.

She wanted to scream.

Wanted to cry.

But no sound came out.

Only silence.

A silence louder than any scream.

That night, Emma tried to call.

The call wasn’t answered.

She tried again.

And again.

Finally, Daniel’s voice answered.

“Emma.”

“Where’s Alina? She should have arrived at my place by now-”

“Plans changed. Alina’s not coming.”

“What? But we already agreed-”

“She’s sick. Dr. Ross examined her this morning. Alina needs complete rest. No visitors.”

“I want to talk to her-”

“She’s sleeping. Don’t disturb her, Emma. Let my wife recover in peace.”

“Daniel, I don’t believe-”

The call disconnected.

Emma stared at her phone.

Her heart pounding.

Something was very wrong.

She knew it.

But what could she do?

Rachel Chen sat in her office.

Reviewing Alina’s case notes.

There were inconsistencies.

Many.

Dr. Ross’s medical reports were too perfect.

Too neat.

Nothing was technically wrong.

But… something felt dead.

Rachel picked up the phone.

Called her private contact at the medical certification office.

“Hey, I need help. I need to verify a doctor’s credentials. Dr. Patricia Ross. Private practice in the Greenwich area.”

“Give me five minutes.”

Five minutes later, the phone rang again.

“Rachel. Dr. Ross is registered. Active license. No violations on record.”

“Any record of business relationships with the Blackwood family?”

A pause.

“Not in public records. But… there are rumors. Unconfirmed. Some private doctors in upper social circles… they provide special services for certain clients. If you know what I mean.”

Rachel understood.

“Thank you.”

She hung up the phone.

Stared at the medical report again.

If Daniel had falsified the pregnancy report-

This wasn’t just about custody anymore.

This was criminal.

Document falsification.

Fraud.

Maybe even worse.

But she needed proof.

Real proof.

And the only person who could provide that was Alina.

***

In her room, Alina still lay on the bed.

Not moving.

Eyes open but not seeing.

Her body felt like it wasn’t hers anymore.

Her mind was empty.

Or perhaps too full.

Too much pain to process.

The door opened slowly.

A servant entered with a tray of food.

“Mrs. Blackwood. You need to eat something.”

Alina didn’t answer.

The servant placed the tray on the bedside table.

“Mr. Daniel said you need to take care of your health. For the baby.”

Baby.

The word stabbed like a knife.

6/7

There was no baby.

Not yet.

But there might be.

After what Daniel had done-

Alina closed her eyes.

New tears flowed.

“Ma’am? Are you all right?”

No.

She wasn’t all right.

She would never be all right again.

But she couldn’t say that.

Because if she said that-

If she acknowledged what happened—

It would become real.

And she wasn’t ready for that.

Not ready to face the total destruction of her life.

“Leave me alone.”

Her voice was hoarse. Broken.

The servant hesitated for a moment.

Then left quietly.

Closed the door.

Locked it again.

Alina was alone.

In the prison she once called home.

With the monster she once called her husband.

And a future she no longer controlled.

In the downtown penthouse, Margaret sat rigidly in front of her laptop screen.

Three monitors displayed CCTV feeds from Alina’s room.

The footage from two hours ago was still playing on repeat.

And Margaret couldn’t stop watching.

Couldn’t believe it.

Didn’t want to believe it.

But the evidence was right in front of her eyes.

Her son-Daniel-had raped his own wife.

Brutally. Without mercy.

Margaret heard Alina’s screams through the audio feed.

Saw the futile resistance.

Saw the undisguised violence.

Her hand trembled on the mouse.

Her face pale.

“No,” she whispered. “Impossible. Daniel wouldn’t—”

But he had.

The footage was irrefutable.

Margaret slammed the laptop shut.

Stood. Paced the room.

Her breathing ragged.

This wasn’t her son.

The son she raised wouldn’t do something like that.

Daniel was an honorable man. Educated. Civilized.

Not… not a monster.

But the footage-

Margaret stopped.

Shook her head hard.

“It’s her fault,” she muttered. “Alina’s fault.”

Yes.

That was the only explanation that made sense.

Alina must have seduced him. Manipulated him. Made Daniel lose control.

That woman was unstable. Already proven by her journal. By her behavior.

Maybe she deliberately provoked Daniel. Tried to make him do something extreme.

To then use it as a weapon against him.

“Cunning whore,” Margaret hissed.

Her hand reached for her phone.

She wanted to call Daniel. Berate him. Demand an explanation.

How could he be so stupid?

How could he let lust overrule common sense?

And worst of all-

What if that act produced offspring?

Margaret imagined Alina pregnant with Daniel’s child.

Tied forever to this family through blood.

Couldn’t be thrown out. Couldn’t be erased.

Her stomach churned.

But her finger stopped over the call button.

If she called Daniel now-in this rage-she might reveal that she still had access to the CCTV.

That she was still watching.

Still controlling from a distance.

And that was her only advantage now.

The only way to keep knowing what was happening in that house.

Daniel didn’t know the cameras were still active. Didn’t know Margaret still had administrative access to the entire security system.

If she lost that-

She would be completely blind.

Completely cut off.

Margaret lowered the phone slowly.

Drew a deep breath.

Controlled her anger with great effort.

“Fool,” she cursed quietly. “Daniel’s a fool. Alina’s manipulative. Everything’s a mess.”

2/6

She returned to the laptop.

Opened the feed again.

This time displaying Alina’s room in real-time.

Alina still lay in bed. Motionless.

Like a broken doll.

Margaret stared at her with a mixture of disgust and… something else.

Something almost like pity.

But she buried that feeling quickly.

“This is all your fault,” Margaret whispered to the screen. “You started this. You made Daniel like this.”

A lie she repeated until she almost believed it.

***

In her car, Emma drove at high speed toward the Blackwood house.

Her heart pounding.

Alina wasn’t answering her phone. Daniel said she was sick. Not to be disturbed.

But Emma knew something was wrong.

Very wrong.

Her phone rang.

Rachel.

Emma answered while keeping her eyes on the road. “Rachel? I’m on my way-”

“Emma, stop. Don’t go to the Blackwood house.”

“What? Why?”

“I got information. Dr. Ross issued a medical report for Alina yesterday.”

Emma braked suddenly. The car behind her honked angrily.

“What report?”

“Pregnancy.”
