Seeing Claire, her eyes lit up.
"Sienna," Claire greeted, smoothly signaling a waiter to bring Sienna a glass of warm water.
She also brought her a small cake.
"You can try a little bit of this."
Sienna was actively undergoing physical therapy now. She didn't need to attend events or shoot movies.
Having a tiny bit of frosting wouldn't hurt.
Sienna felt a surge of eagerness. No one was micromanaging her diet right now; what was wrong with a little dessert?
What girl didn't love sweets?
She used to think she didn't like them, mostly because she knew those beautiful cakes in the bakery windows would never be hers on her birthday.
But when her little brother's birthday rolled around, if he threw a tantrum for one, her parents would buy it without hesitation.
And even then, her brother would eat the whole thing himself. Sienna never got a single bite.
If she so much as glanced at it for too long, she would get screamed at.
They would accuse her of trying to steal from her brother.
They'd say she was a glutton who would never find a husband when she grew up.
They even called her a starving ghost reincarnated.
All sorts of vile insults flashed through her mind, but Sienna eventually pushed them away.
It wasn't until she started working with Karla that she realized girls were allowed to enjoy nice things too.
Her tradition became rewarding herself with a small slice of cake after wrapping up every project.
Still, she was terrified of gaining weight, deathly afraid that if she lost her figure, the roles would dry up.
Having tasted the sweet relief of making her own money, Sienna was constantly terrified of losing her career.
She couldn't bear the thought of not being able to provide for herself.
Because of that, every single production crew Sienna worked with praised her relentless work ethic.
"This matcha cake looks incredible..." Sienna scooped up a spoonful and took a bite.
Before she could even finish her sentence, she started spitting it out.
"Ugh, cough... is this mustard?"
