Claire had heard about it from Eleanor and Sienna's assistant, Trixie. She had seen Jocelyn Hunter's profile right there in Trixie's hands.
"Tiffany's nephew?" That was Ophelia's only impression of Leon Byron.
She'd heard the kid was facing prison time for causing so much harm.
Sienna, a dazzling, award-winning actress, had been victimized so severely she would likely spend the rest of her life bedridden.
However, rumor had it that her own niece had taken charge of the woman's rehabilitation. She still couldn't fathom how the young girl possessed such incredible medical skills.
"Yes."
Claire nodded.
Ophelia sighed. "At the end of the day, Leon only manipulated Sienna's cousin into committing the crime because of that woman. Does this Jocelyn really still have the mood to go dress shopping?"
She didn't harbor much prejudice against people in the entertainment industry. After all, she mingled in the fashion world, and Karla was an entertainment manager.
But she absolutely detested starlets like Jocelyn.
In that moment, Ophelia felt profoundly grateful that her two sons were entirely oblivious to romance.
Otherwise, if they brought home an actress with such questionable morals, wouldn't the Churchill family be thrown into absolute chaos?
"Who knows." Claire shook her head, brushing off the minor incident.
If Leon was foolish enough to let that woman play him like a fiddle, it was his own bad luck.
But it was far more likely that he already harbored malicious intentions, and his girlfriend was merely a convenient excuse to soothe his conscience.
Claire reserved her judgment.
Victoria paid even less attention to such gossip.
She cared far more about whether her little niece would like that white Pearl-Embellished Gown.
"Actually, I quite like the designs from SUNNY. There's a VIA Metropolis branch here in Cabinda, and SUNNY just opened a store there. Should we go take a look?"
Ophelia had initially planned to switch to another high-end couture studio, but the idea struck her as they drove past the street where VIA Metropolis was located.
"Sure." Claire agreed without a second thought.
"Yes, he's the executive in charge of VIA Metropolis," Claire explained.
It finally dawned on Ophelia that Edison did indeed work for the VIA Group.
The James family was notoriously low-key and never intentionally flaunted their wealth.
Because of this, Ophelia still had no idea that the VIA Group was actually Pandora's enterprise.
But Padgett undoubtedly knew.
"He really is impressive. If he doesn't have a girlfriend yet, I'd love to set him up with someone."
Reaching her current age, Ophelia had developed a slight penchant for matchmaking.
Claire remained silent for a moment. "...Neither of your sons has a girlfriend yet, so you still have plenty to worry about."
As for Edison, he already had Jenny, so she'd just let him be.
Ophelia let out a soft laugh. "You're right. I can't even manage to worry about my own boys."
