Sean actually went to the Stranz family’s place to look for Juliana.

Juliana barely glanced at it. “If they’re on a trip, let them be. If you want to go somewhere, I’ll have someone take you too.”

“Mom, cousin really likes Paradise. What if he actually falls for her?” Layna couldn’t stand seeing Paradise happy. She wanted everyone’s attention on her, not Paradise.

Juliana just shrugged. “If he likes her, he likes her. At your age, it’s all just a game. When you’re older, you’ll have so many options. Trust me, no one remembers their childhood crushes.”

“But cousin is glued to Paradise—he’s practically her shadow.” Layna’s jealousy was obvious. “Mom, summer break’s here. I want to go to Hong Kong to see Justin.”

“Justin’s gone to England. His mom called me today—he’ll be there for three years,” Juliana replied. “What’s the point of going to Hong Kong?”

“Justin’s in England?” Layna was stunned. “How come I didn’t know? When did he leave? Mom, I want to go to England too.”

Layna’s mind was made up—she just wanted to be where Justin was.
