“Hello.” Celeste could tell that Jordyn was speaking with food in her mouth. She asked, “Are you having your breakfast?”

“I have.” Celeste went on, “I’m calling to let you know that Granny’s birthday is this Saturday. So don’t make any plans that day—you’ll be coming with me to her place for celebration, okay?”

Jordyn didn’t expect Celeste to call just to tell her this.
She hadn’t managed to spend time with Wynn last weekend, and she thought she could make up for it this week.
Hence, she felt a bit reluctant to hear what Celeste had just said.

Celeste must have noticed Jordyn’s reluctance too, as she knew exactly what was on the latter’s mind.
Tightening the grip on her phone, she asked Jordyn, “Is your Dad around?”
“Dad? Yeah,” Jordyn replied as she looked at Trevor, who was sitting across from her. Then, she asked Celeste, Do you want to talk to him, Mom?”
“Yes, please pass your phone to him. I have something to tell him.”
‘Okay.”
Jordyn handed the phone to Trevor, who was still eating his breakfast. “Dad, Mom wants to talk to you.”
Trevor put down the utensils and grabbed the phone. “What’s the matter?”
“My Granny is celebrating her birthday the day after tomorrow. Please tell Jo to follow me back to the Rodriguez residence on that day, and she must not sneak away.”
Trevor replied, “Alright. Anything else?”
“I’ll be taking her to the Rodriguez residence on Friday night.”
“Okay.”
Celeste felt a sense of relief upon hearing Trevor’s answer. After a brief pause, she said, “Thank you.”
Trevor hummed a reply.
Celeste had never asked whether he was free on Saturday when she gave him the invitation.
This time, too.
Moreover, since he’d passed the item he had bought at the auction to her, it was clear he intended for her to give the gift to Betty in his place.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
