Celeste was sitting beside Zachary,
He was still talking to Betty, and he hadn’t spared her a glance yet.
Celeste turned a little to Matthias. “Thank you, Matthias.”
She could tell that Betty was in a much better mood after Zachary came.
“There’s no need to thank me.” Matthias shrugged. “Mr. Newman just happened to reply to me regarding the project you came up with not long ago. Then I told him about this, and he came. So, really, you should be thanking yourself.”
As Celeste was about to speak, she heard someone mention Trevor’s name.
Hesitating for a moment, she turned around, only to see Trevor at the entrance.
With all eyes on him, he approached Betty with steady steps. “Happy birthday.”
Then, he handed the gift box to her and said, “Just in case the first gift wasn’t to your taste, I brought another. I hope you like it.”
Betty didn’t realize Trevor would attend at all.
Yet his arrival didn’t bring joy to her..

Zachary gave him a quick nod.
As Celeste looked his way, he met her eyes. Trevor instructed the waiter to place a chair between Celeste and Zachary, then settled into his seat.
The guests here wasted no time spreading the news that Zachary was there to celebrate Betty’s birthday after he had arrived.
It took less than two minutes for the news to reach the Shaws‘ side.
The guests at the Shaw residence were all shocked.
“The Rodriguez family has connections this strong?”
“I don’t know. Oh, that’s Matthias Yoder in the photo, right? And the beautiful lady by his side is actually Mr. Rodriguez’s niece? I don’t recall Mr. Rodriguez ever mentioning this. Well, that clears things up. If she’s Mr. Rodriguez’s niece, it makes perfect sense.”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
