It wasn’t until noon, when it was time for lunch, that Matthias and Celeste finally got a chance to take a breather..
At that moment, Celeste’s phone suddenly rang. It was a message from Lottie, asking if she wanted to go skiing with her in the afternoon.
Celeste replied via voice message, “I have things to do today, so I won’t be going. You go ahead and have fun.”
“Alright then.”
In the evening, while Celeste stepped out of Zachary’s study to get some water, Lottie sent her another message.
This time, it was a few photos. And the people in the photos were none other than Trevor, Wynn, Jordyn, Beck, and Shanice.
Then, Lottie sent another message: “My friends and I were having such a great time skiing, but then we ran into them. Totally ruined the mood!”
Celeste only clicked on one photo. Once she confirmed who was in them, she didn’t bother looking at the rest.
Seeing Lottie’s complaint, she calmly replied with a voice message, “Just enjoy yourselves and ignore them.”
Lottie quickly sent another voice message: “We might stay until the late evening. Do you want to come?”
“No, I’m busy.”
“Alright then.”
Celeste put her phone away, picked up her glass of water, and returned to the study. They remained busy for the rest of the day.
By night time, Matthias stretched and suggested, “Mr. Newman, let’s go out for dinner! We’ll treat you.”
Zachary didn’t even look at him before saying, “I have plans.”
Both Celeste and Matthias were surprised.
“I’m having dinner with Trevor tonight.”
Matthias glanced at Celeste, who simply took a sip of her water without any reaction.
Zachary grabbed his car keys and left, reminding them, “Make sure to lock up when you leave.” Then, as if remembering something, he added, “But I won’t be gone for long.”
“Got it, professor.”

Meanwhile, on the other side, Jordyn, Trevor, Wynn, and the others had been skiing for most of the day and were in high spirits.
As they left the ski resort, Jordyn happily said to Trevor, “Dad, I want seafood for dinner.”
Trever replied, “Wynn and I have something important to do later, so we can’t have dinner with you. The driver is already waiting in the parking lot. When you get home, just tell the chef what you want.”
Hearing this, the smile on Jordyn’s face instantly disappeared. “What is it? Why can’t I go too?”
Trevor gently pinched her cheek and smiled. “It’s something very important.”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
