Henry’s face was full of smiles as he immediately greeted Wynn. “Ms. Locket.”
Wynn smiled and nodded before turning to both him and Matthias. “Trevor is treating my team to a meal. Would Mr. Yoder and Mr. Quinn like to join us?”
She deliberately ignored Celeste.
Henry naturally wanted to agree, but he glanced at Matthias and Celeste first.
Matthias immediately declined, “Ms. Locket, we appreciate the invitation, but we already have plans.”
Wynn frowned. “Mr. Yoder…” She didn’t expect that despite her repeated efforts, Matthias still showed no sign of wavering.
She glanced at Celeste, who was sitting nearby, sipping water.
Celeste noticed her gaze and coldly returned it.
Then, Wynn looked away.
Aside from being pretty, what did Celeste have that made Matthias so determined to stand by her? Was she as outstanding or as dazzling as herself?
Since Matthias refused, Wynn simply smiled, maintaining her polite demeanor. “Alright, next time then.” With that, she didn’t spare Celeste or Henry another glance before turning and leaving
Henry felt like he had just been completely ignored. “Ms. Locket can be quite arrogant sometimes.”
Sure, Wynn had the right to be proud. But even Trevor, the real boss of InnovaTech, was always polite and courteous whenever he met with employees.
Matthias shrugged. “I noticed.”
Wynn carried herself like she already owned InnovaTech. But even without Trevor backing her up, she was still quite full of herself, probably because she believed in her own value.
Not long after, Trevor, presumably after hearing from Wyn that Matthias had declined, came over.
He shook hands with Matthias in a courteous manner and said, “We’ll be heading out now. Mr. Yoder, I hope you’ll join us next time.”
Matthias hesitated for a moment. “…Of course.”
Trevor smiled, glanced at Celeste briefly, then turned and left with Wynn and her team, who were waiting at the
entrance.
After lunch, Celeste and Matthias returned to InnovaTech.
Wynn and her team didn’t come back until some time later
At around 6:00 pm, Celeste and Matthias finished their work and were ready to leave. There was still plenty to handle, but they had time over the next few days to take care of it. There was no rush.
Wynn and her team, however, seemed to still be busy, showing no signs of wrapping up.
Henry commented, “I heard they’re planning to work overtine tonight.”

Matthias replied, “Oh.”
Celeste said, “Let’s go.”
Matthias chuckled. “Let me treat you to dinner.”
Celeste shook her head. “It’s okay, I have other plans.”
Martha had told her to return to the Fleming Manor for dinner.
When she arrived, Trevor and Jordyn were already home.
she didn’t expect Trevor to be back. She had thought he would stay at the company with Wynn.
When Trevor saw her come in, he gave her a brief glance before continuing his work on his laptop.
During dinner, Trevor sat down beside Celeste. Noticing that he was busy on his phone, she suddenly said, “Do you have time later? I have something to discuss with you.”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
