“Celeste?” Caleb paused for a brief moment and continued, As in… celestial?”
“Yup.”
The name suited her a lot, but Caleb didn’t say it aloud.
Jorge, Miles, Beck, Wynn, and Trevor all noticed what was happening.
Switching partners on the dance floor was nothing unusual.
But Celeste and Caleb?
Visually speaking, they looked incredible together.
Jorge furrowed his brows.
And Beck stilled for a second.
His partner looked at him and asked, “Mr. Harper?”
Beck averted his gaze. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine.”
There was indeed nothing unusual about swapping partners on the dance floor.
To him, even swapping partners with Trevor was fine.
But Celeste…
It was Wynn’s first time seeing Caleb tonight.
Jorge had stopped by to say hello, but Caleb hadn’t come with him.
Hence, she had no idea about Caleb’s background.
But from the way Jorge and Xavier treated Caleb, she knew his status had to be at least equal to Jorge’s.
Wynn frowned as she watched Celeste dance with Caleb, her face tinged with red, while Caleb seemed to treat her rather well.
Just then, Miles grinned and asked, “Let’s switch up for a bit, Trevor.”
Upon hearing that, Wynn snapped back to her senses.
Trevor gazed at her. “What do you say?”
Smilingly, Wynn replied, “Sure.”
Then, Trevor swapped partners with Miles.
Miles’s dance partner hadn’t expected Wynn to genuinely agree to the swap.
As Trevor held her hand and gently wrapped an arm around her waist, the lady gazed at his breathtakingly handsome face, her heart thudding uncontrollably–she even forgot to move.
The lady’s cheeks burned as she realized her blunder. She gazed flickered to Trevor in a moment of awkward. hesitation.

Trevor paused for a quick moment, looking at the lady before him. With a gentle voice, he said, “Don’t be nervous.
Noticing Trevor’s gentle demeanor, she calmed herself. After a quiet apology, she gradually fell in step with him.
Initially, Wynn didn’t mind swapping dance partners.
She wasn’t worried–Trevor wouldn’t be stolen away over just one dance.
But when Wynn saw the lady’s starry–eyed, bashful expression as she looked at Trevor, she instinctively frowned.
Miles had never entertained any romantic notions about Wyn as she was dating his good friend. 1
Swapping had been a spontaneous decision.
Yet, now that the swap was done, Miles felt oddly unsettled.
Wynn was his good friend’s girlfriend, after all. Holding her hand was awkward enough, and he had no clue where to put his other hand.
Wynn stared at him and said, “It’s just a dance. Trevor won’t mind.”
Miles eased up and laughed. “You’re right.”
As they talked, Celeste and Trevor were slowly getting closer.
However, Celeste didn’t notice it at all.
Soon, she heard Trevor speak next to her. “Caleb, feel like switching?”
Celeste tilted her head, meeting Trevor’s gaze head–on.
Caleb looked at her. “Ms. Rodriguez, what do you…”
Before he could get another word out, Trevor had already made the exchange, handing his partner over.
If Caleb didn’t catch her, she’d likely fall.
Seeing Trevor reach for Celeste and ensure she wouldn’t fall, Caleb had no choice but to let go of Celeste and catch the other girl, steadying her by her waist.
It all happened so fast–before Celeste could react, she was already in Trevor’s embrace securely.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
