Jordyn happily ran over to Celeste, holding up her hand for a high–five. “Mom, we won!”
Celeste gave her a high–five. “Mm.”
Trevor also walked over. “Did you get the video?”
“Yes,” Celeste responded as she sent the video to him.
After the musical chairs game, the next activity was the Invincible Firewheel game.
The game required four families to form a team. Each team had to move forward while continuously rolling a circular tape ring under their feet. The first team to reach the finish line would win.
Trevor looked at Celeste. “Want to do this round?”
Jordyn nodded eagerly. “Mom will play this round with me
Celeste had no objections. “Alright.”
As the game was about to start, Celeste hesitated for a moment while looking at her bag.
At that moment, Trevor reached out his hand. “I’ll hold it.”
“Thanks.” Celeste handed her bag to him.
For most couples, a husband holding his wife’s bag was an everyday occurrence. But for them, this was the first time Trevor had ever held her bag.
Celeste had no idea if he had ever held Wynn’s bag before.
Today, he wasn’t dressed as formally as usual, but with his tall frame in a sleek black overcoat, holding her bag somehow didn’t seem out of place at all.
From a distance, anyone who didn’t know their situation might assume he was just a man standing there, holding his beloved woman’s bag, waiting for her to return.
Celeste quickly looked away.
The game required strong teamwork. So, Celeste stood in the center, raising her hands in sync with the team to rotate the tape ring.
Jordyn stood behind her, tugging at her coat to follow her rhythm, clearly enjoying herself.
When she noticed Trevor recording them with his phone, she became even more excited. “Dad!”
Trevor stood slightly ahead to the side.
Celeste was aware of his presence, but she was too focused on the game to look at him. Then, as soon as Jordyn spoke, Trevor’s voice followed from the side. “Eyes on the game. Follow your mom’s rhythm.”
Jordyn answered cheerfully, “Got it!”
Earlier, when Celeste had recorded the previous game, she had stood still and filmed from one spot. But now, as Trevor recorded them, he moved with the game’s pace, walking backward while filming.
After one full round, the game ended.
Jordyn ran over to Trevor. “Dad, this game was so fun! Can we play it again sometime?”
Chapter 796
Trevor smiled. “Sure.”
Celeste returned and took her bag from his hands. Just then, she heard a notification sound from inside her bag.
She took out her phone and saw that Trevor had sent her a video. She just glanced at it but didn’t open it.
Meanwhile, Jordyn had scooted up beside Trevor, eager to watch the video he had recorded.
Trevor handed his phone to her, then opened a water bottle and held it out to Celeste.
Celeste accepted it. “Thanks.” She was indeed a little thirsty.
She took two sips, then screwed the cap back on just as Trevor asked, “What’s the next game?”
Celeste didn’t believe that someone with his memory would forget the schedule after reading it once.
But…
She glanced at the water bottle in her hand and paused. It was hard to refuse someone after accepting their favor.
With that thought, she replied, “The Ball Transportation Game.”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
