Xavier continued, “Then how about you talk to Matthias? You and Matthias have some connection, right?”
Caleb replied, “I could, but I don’t think Matthilas would listen.”
From the way Celeste had looked when she agreed to switch dance partners that night, Caleb had sensed that she and Matthias were not in a romantic relationship.
But at the same time, it was clear that Matthias valued Celeste deeply.

Matthias was Zachary’s student. If Zachary spoke up, Jorge believed Matthias would budge.
Without hesitation, he decided to call Theodore.
On his way home after dinner, Jorge was about to call Theodore. But before he could, Theodore’s call came through first.
Getting straight to the point, Theodore asked, “How are the negotiations with YodaVision going?”
Jorge decided to be honest. “They didn’t go through. I was just about to ask for your help.
“What do you mean?”
“I offended an engineer at YodaVision, and for her sake, Matthias_”
Theodore cut him off. “What’s that engineer’s name?”
Jorge was momentarily stunned–he didn’t expect that question. But he instinctively answered, “Celeste Rodriguez”
Taking a deep breath, Theodore let out a laugh. “So, before the collaboration even started, you managed to offend one of their core technical personnel. Impressive.”
Jorge was about to argue that Celeste wasn’t exactly a core gure–just someone with an ambiguous relationship
with Matthias.
But Theodore didn’t give him the chance. “I can help you with this,” he said.
Jorge Immediately responded, “Thanks, old man!”
“Shameless.”
“When’s your next vacation? Jorge didn’t see anything shameful about asking his father for help this time.
In his opinion, he could have secured the YodaVision proje based on his own ability. The only thing standing in his way was a personal grudge.

Theodore chuckled. “You’re smart enough to guess why I’m calling, aren’t you?”
Celeste hummed a response.
Even though she had already figured out his intentions, Theodore still asked, “Can you agree to work with Jorge? Think of it as me owing you a favor. What do you say?”
Business was business. In reality, as long as both parties were sincere enough, even enemies could work together.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
