But Betty shook her head and said, “Being able to see so many of the artist’s paintings in one place is already an honor for me. I don’t want to disturb him.”
Since she had made up her mind, Matthias had no choice but to drop the idea. Still, with the Lockets and the Shaws present, he was a little worried about them..
Celeste reassured him, “Go ahead, don’t worry about us.”
The Lockets and the Shaws cared a lot about their reputation. In this kind of setting, they wouldn’t dare do anything to them.
With that, Matthias left.
Celeste asked, “Grandma, which painting would you like to see first?”
Betty smiled. “Let’s start from the nearest one.”
“Alright.”
Just as Celeste was about to lead Betty away, Jorge and Xavier arrived. They spotted Celeste as soon as they stepped in.
Xavier, still harboring feelings for her, wanted to go over and say hello.
Jorge, however, instinctively frowned.

Betty asked, “Do you know those two young men?”
“We’ve worked together before.”
Since it was just a work–related acquaintance, Betty didn’t ask further.
At that moment, Harvey and Lilian also arrived. Just as they were about to greet large, he spoke first. “Mr. Locket, Mrs. Locket, you’re here too?”

But Matthias seemed restless, constantly checking the time
Caleb noticed and asked, “Matthias, are you in a hurry?”
Matthias hesitated. “…No, I just have something else to take care of.” Leaving without meeting Harry would seem impolite.
However, his concern outweighed his manners. He said, “Sorry, Caleb, I need to step out for a bit.”
Caleb didn’t mind. “Go ahead.”
Matthias immediately turned and left.
Jorge watched his retreating figure and quickly guessed that he was going to Celeste.
Caleb remarked, “My grandfather will probably take a while to finish chatting. You two might as well step outside. for some fresh air too.”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
