Just as that thought crossed her spind, Brandon chuckled and said to Trevor, “I may not be the best, Trevor, but if you keep going easy on me, I won’t be pleased.”
Trevor smiled. “It’s been a while since my last game, so I’m a little out of touch.”
Brandon snickered, ignoring him.
He was quite capable, and it wasn’t until more than ten minutes later that he conceded defeat, losing by a single piece to Trevor.
Instead of being upset, Brandon’s curiosity was piqued–he was eager to see just how skilled Trevor truly was. Grinning, Trevor signaled him to begin.
Without hesitation, Brandon jumped straight into the next match.
Trevor played more aggressively this time. Brandon narrowed his eyes at him, but Trevor only responded smilingly, “Well played.”
To be honest, Brandon was delighted; it had been ages since he had lost a match this enjoyably.

Before they began, Brandon voiced, “Give it your all! Don’t act like I’m some old–timer who can’t see what’s going on.

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....

Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
