Chapter 235
Celeste said to Trevor, “My uncle said someone from Fleming Group approached him about a project collaboration.”
Trevor was about to respond when Celeste continued, “I know you don’t want to owe me or my grandmother, and you’re trying to express your gratitude in this way.
“But my grandmother and I visit your grandmother at the hospital because of her, not because of you. So, you don’t need to offer us any projects.”
If they did business with Fleming Group, the Lockets and the Shaws would surely be displeased and stir up trouble.
Even if he was sincerely trying to thank her and her grandmother by offering the project to her uncle to help him, the fact remained that the woman he loved was Wynn.
If, one day, he wavered and changed his mind, the so–called help now would turn into a burden. And if it happened, the ones who would bear the consequences would still be the Rodriguez family.
She couldn’t afford to accept his offer.
With an indifferent tone, she added, “You can also rest assured–once the divorce is finalized, we’ll go our separate ways. I won’t entangle myself with you anymore.”
To her, this was just another way for Trevor to draw a clear boundary between them.
Wasn’t he in such a hurry to sever ties because he feared she would cling to him?
But she wouldn’t. Not anymore.
Trevor was silent for a few seconds before responding, “Alright.”
Celeste didn’t say anything else. She picked up her phone and relayed her decision to Ivan. After hanging up, they went skiing.
The trip went smoothly without any incidents.
However, Celeste spent most of her time talking with Jamie, Hector, and Jordyn.
As for Trevor, they spoke only when necessary. He didn’t take the initiative to speak much.
Around noon, Trevor told Celeste he had to leave early.
Celeste replied indifferently, “Alright.”
Trevor, then turned to Jordyn. “Jo, do you-”
“I want to watch a movie with Mom, Jamie, and Hector!”
It wasn’t Celeste who had suggested it. Jamie and Hector wanted to see a movie; and the three kids had planned it together before mentioning it to Celeste.
Trevor nodded. “Alright.”
After giving Celeste a brief nod, he turned and left..
About ten minutes later, Celeste’s phone rang. It was her divorce lawyer, Jason.
He said, “I just got a call from Trevor. He said he’ll prepare new divorce agreement by the end of today. Compared to the previous one, the main change is in the asset division–be intends to give you two to three

additional properties, each worth a few hundred million.”
Celeste’s expression remained unchanged.
So, this was how Trevor saw it? He didn’t believe what she had just told him. Did he think she was still trying to cling to him? And because she refused his offer, he couldn feel at ease?
She replied, “Alright, I understand. I have no objections. I’ll leave the rest to you.”
Meanwhile, not long after leaving the ski resort, Trevor went to pick up Wynn before heading to a restaurant,
When they arrived, the private dining room was already packed. Besides the Lockets and the Shaws, there were also other guests seated around the large table.
Seeing Trevor arrive with Wynn, Harvey and Mason immediately broke into smiles.
Wynn took a seat beside Ruby.
Trevor sat down and started conversing with Simon Radcliffe and Ronan Sinclair regarding business.
Ruby leaned close to Wynn and whispered, “Wynn, your unde and I just heard that Trevor plans to give a Fleming Group project to the Rodriguez family!”
Wynn replied, “I already know about it.”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
I'm so excited for tomorrow! I wonder what happened to Jo... What is the story behind that court summons?...
A court summons? Oh my God, what happened?...
Here we go again…drip-drop. One page a day instead of the promised 5 Chapters and even that stops suddenly so we never know if the story will advance. I swear this author is writing the new page on their lunch break and laughing at us when we get frustrated....
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
Wynn's reputation is over. I read all these chapters for this moment... I'm really glad that Matthias finally said everything at once. All thanks to the fool Quinton...
So we're going to keep going in circles atp, nothing was revealed that we didn't already know,I mean I would've at least liked to see Trevor's reaction to finding out his wife is the co-owner and coder to CUAP,find out who drugged them.Whats happening with the military blacksite, how come Celeste is so quiet she never stands up for herself. All we're getting is reaction's from side character's who don't matter...
Yes.. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters......
I don't really understand the writer. Why are Trevor and Celeste silent now? Isn't it about them?...
Who the helly is georgette 😆...
Alas..the truth that has been buried since…is prevailing....
