Martha’s birthday arrived quieldy,
Since Trevor had reminded her in advance, Jordyn had alreally prepared a birthday gift for Martha. As soon as she came downstairs for breakfast, she immediately presented the gift.
Martha’s eyes crinkled with a smile. “Thank you, Jo.”
Trevor also handed over his gift. “This is from both Cel and me. Happy birthday.”
At his words, Martha shot him a glance.
Before she could say anything, the butler entered carrying two gift boxes. “Mrs. Fleming Senior, these birthday gifts were sent by Madam Klein and Mrs. Fleming.”
Martha accepted the gifts and then looked at Trevor. She knew he had mentioned Celeste’s name just to make her happy, but she no longer insisted on meddling in their affairs.
She huffed, “Cel already prepared a separate gift for me. There’s no need for your unnecessary gestures.” With that, she ignored him.
Trevor just chuckled. He remained unfazed and turned to unge Jordyn to finish breakfast quickly so he could drive her to school.
After delivering her gift, Celeste grabbed her car keys and headed to the office. Not long after she arrived, she and Matthias went to InnovaTech for a business matter.
As soon as they arrived, they spotted Wynn.
Upon seeing them, Wynn only greeted Matthias, “Mr. Yoder ”
She was smiling, seemingly in a good mood, with no trace of disappointment over missing Martha’s birthday banquet.
Matthias glanced at her, curling his lips slightly but not responding. He and Celeste then simply went about their
business.
Matthias was quite interested in the fact that Celeste wasn’t attending Martha’s birthday banquet.
That
evening, he returned home and accompanied his parents to the restaurant where the banquet was being held.
They arrived fairly early. At that time, the banquet hall was still a little empty.
Since it was Martha’s grand birthday celebration, the Fleming family took it very seriously. Almost all the Fleming family members, including Jordyn, were already present.
Matthias hadn’t seen Jordyn in two to three years.
When he first met her, he had thought she resembled Trevor. Now, after years of not seeing her, the r.blance was even more striking.
When the Yoder family arrived, the Fleming family greeted them warmly. “Mr. Yoder, Mrs. Yoder, Mr. Matthias.”
After some polite exchanges, Matthias‘ mother, Melissa Thornton, looked at Jordyn

Melissa had always liked Celeste she found her outstanding and close in age to Matthias and had once hoped they could be a couple.

Then, as she glanced at Matthias, she couldn’t help but stare at him for a moment.
Martha chuckled. “Jo, why are you staring at Matthias like that?”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
