Theodore refused to help, so Jorge immediately decided to contact Zachary himself.
However, he didn’t have Zachary’s contact information.
He messaged Theodore asking for Zachary’s number, and Theodore simply replied with a single word. “Nope.”
Before he could even react, Theodore sent another message “I’ve already spoken to Harold too. Don’t waste your time.”
Seeing that, Jorge was genuinely a little angry.
But when he tried calling Theodore again, the call went unanswered.
Since Theodore and Harold were both at a dead end, he thought of Caleb.
He remembered Caleb had mentioned before that he had some work–related interactions with Zachary. They’d even had a meal together.
With that in mind, Jorge reached out to Caleb.
Caleb didn’t return his call until the evening. After hearing that Jorge was looking for Zachary’s contact info, he said, “I don’t have Mr. Newman’s number.”
“You don’t? Didn’t you have dinner with him and my old man before? You guys didn’t exchange contacts?”
Caleb replied, “No.”
Jorge was skeptical and couldn’t help but ask, “Are you sure? Or did my old man tell you not to give it to me?”
“I really don’t have it,” Caleb said, confused by the suspicion.
He explained, “Even though we had dinner together, I’m not familiar with Mr. Newman. Honestly, I think in his eyes, I’m no different from a stranger. He’s not the type to take care of juniors–he’s actually pretty distant.”
Hearing that, Jorge was convinced Caleb truly didn’t have Zachary’s contact info.
Caleb asked, “Why do you want to contact him?”
“Just to talk about something.”
From the way Jorge had spoken earlier, it sounded like he had already tried to get Zachary’s contact info from Theodore, but Theodore not only refused–he’d even told others not to share it.
Then Caleb suddenly connected the dots. “Did Ms. Locket and Matthias have some kind of falling out?”
Jorge paused. “Is it that obvious?”
Caleb didn’t respond right away.
Previously, Jorge had mentioned that Celeste and Matthias seemed to be in a relationship and that Celeste was targeting Wynn because she was too outstanding and worried Matthias might fall for her.
But at a banquet last year, Caleb had observed that Celeste and Matthias didn’t appear to be in a romantic relationship.
He didn’t know what their relationship actually was–until recently, at the training base, when he found out Celeste was also a student of Zachary’s.

Only then did it make sense why Matthias was so protective of Celeste.
Even before learning that Celeste was Zachary’s student, Caleb had already felt that Celeste didn’t seem like the type to target other women out of jealousy.
Putting everything else aside, with just the assumption that Celeste and Matthias were romantically involved was already inaccurate.
As for whether Celeste actually targeted Wynn? That seemed even less believable now.
With that in mind, he asked, “So, what exactly happened?”
Jorge rubbed his temples and eventually gave a general rundown of the incident.
“I know Wynn was partly at fault here,” he said. “But wanting to terminate the contract over something like this- don’t you think that’s just ridiculous?”
Caleb responded, “I’m not going to comment on that. But you want to contact Mr. Newman just because you think Matthias went too far?”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
