Jorge had intended to say these things, but when his eyes caught sight of Trevor, the words suddenly got stuck in

Now that both Wynn and Trevor were present, Jorge felt that he had no place to speak on the subject.

Matthias and Celeste were heading back to the office.

So, after Zachary left in his car, Matthias remarked, “Jorge is such an idiot. I regret ever cooperating with him just because I wanted to show Theodore respect. The thought of continuing to work with him makes my head hurt.”

Celeste rubbed her temples and said, “Should we have Mr. Lockridge handle him in the future?”

Matthias responded, “Yes, please!”

Celeste smiled, and they both headed back to the office.

As they exited the elevator and were about to enter the company, her phone rang.

It was a call from Trevor.

But Celeste didn’t answer.

Seeing her sudden change in expression, Matthias guessed who was on the other end of the line.

After the phone stopped vibrating, Celeste was about to discuss tomorrow’s work arrangements with Matthias when a new message notification popped up on her phone.

It was from Trevor.

“I’m going on a business trip tomorrow. Jo wants to stay with you. Can you take care of her during the May Day holiday?”

After reading the message, Matthias scoffed and said, “Just like during the Ember Festival, he can’t go on a business trip without bringing Wynn along. But he wants you to look after Jordyn so he can spend time alone with Wynn?”
