Bryson, unaware of the grudge between Celeste and Wynn, followed up on Rodney's words and said, "Yes, we were just discussing some new developments in the industry.

Wynn responded, "Oh, I see..."
As she spoke, she glanced over at Celeste.
After finishing the serious work discussions, Celeste had planned to leave. But unable to resist Rodney and Bryson's enthusiasm, she stayed and chatted with them for a while longer.
Now with Wynn's arrival, she finally had an excuse to excuse herself.
She stood up and said, "It's getting late, and I have something I need to attend to. Mr. Fleming, Professor Leonard, Professor Milford, let's chat again next time."
Besides Celeste's recently published paper, a few other companies in the AI field had also made significant technical breakthroughs lately.

Since Celeste insisted, no matter how disappointed they felt, Rodney and Bryson couldn't push her further.
After bidding goodbye to them, Celeste turned to Trevor, reached out to shake his hand, and said, "Mr. Fleming, see you next time."
It wasn't just Rodney and Bryson who had enjoyed talking with Celeste.
Even Jacob and Zeke could tell that Trevor had been quite happy during the discussion.
Seeing Celeste about to leave, they thought Trevor might be unable to resist asking her to stay a bit longer.
However, Trevor said nothing.
He merely shook Celeste's hand politely and replied, "See you next time."
Then he instructed Zeke, "See Ms. Rodriguez out for me."
Just as she finished speaking, Bryson chuckled and said, "Cel really is a genius in AI. She's not only brilliant but also beautiful. Matthias is one lucky guy."

And Matthias was lucky to have her?
Bryson's words practically placed Celeste on a pedestal.
Although Wynn didn't know exactly how Celeste had managed to impress both Rodney and Bryson without slipping up, seeing how much they liked her, she couldn't help but think of Rowan and Theodore.
They too had really liked Celeste.
Just a single paper had won her so much favor from so many major figures.
Wynn had to admit, Celeste's skills were indeed impressive.
But still, without real substance, there would come a day when the truth would be exposed.
No matter how much Celeste had now, it was all just an illusion, not something she could truly rely on.
Thinking about this, Wynn lowered her head and smiled faintly without saying anything further.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
