On Isabelle's birthday, Celeste received a reminder from Trevor about their divorce.
How fitting.
Just then, Jason continued, "Mr. Fleming said if you're free on Monday, he'd like to meet at the courthouse at nine in the morning to handle the paperwork. Ms. Rodriguez, does that work for you?"
Celeste replied, "I'm free Monday morning."
"Alright," Jason said. "I'll let his lawyer know."
"Okay."
Aside from Jason's call, there were also several missed calls from Trevor.
He was likely calling for the same reason. So, she didn't bother calling him back.
She spent the weekend at the Rodriguez residence.
…
On Monday morning, Celeste drove out a little after eight.
When she arrived at the entrance of the courthouse, Trevor was already there.
She hadn't taken their marriage certificate with her when she moved out. So today, he'd brought both the marriage certificate and the divorce agreement with him.
Back when they registered their marriage, he hadn't even waited for her afterward—he'd left coldly, without a glance at their certificate.
So, naturally, Celeste had been the one keeping it. She had nearly forgotten where she put it. Yet now, for the divorce, he hadn't had to ask her at all—he'd managed to retrieve it on his own.
When she arrived, Trevor got out of the car and handed her the divorce agreement. "Do you want to go over it one more time?"
The marriage certificate in his other hand was open. Their wedding photo was clearly visible.
It seemed he had been looking at it just before she arrived.
Celeste glanced away without a word. She took the agreement, turned, and returned to her car to read through it.
By the time she finished reviewing it, it was just about nine. Celeste got out of the car and headed straight into the court.
"Alright." After a beat, he asked, "Are you still going to the Fleming Group?"
"Yes."
Seeing the determination in her eyes, Matthias smiled. "Alright, let's go."
…
20 minutes later, Celeste and Matthias arrived at Fleming Group. By the time they entered the conference room, Trevor and the others were already there waiting.
When he saw them, Trevor greeted them politely. "Mr. Yoder, Ms. Rodriguez, you're here."
Celeste and Matthias responded with quiet nods and took their seats.
The meeting started promptly.
Celeste was professional and focused throughout, and Trevor also spoke with a pleasant demeanor as he interacted with Matthias and the others.
There were quite a few people in the conference room, but apart from Matthias, no one knew that Celeste and Trevor—who appeared to have little to no personal connection—had, just that morning, been to the courthouse together to file for divorce.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
