"But she's suddenly vanished these past couple of days. Barely seen her at all. Maybe she finally realized something?"
Naturally, she was referring to the fact that Trevor had given InnovaTech to Wynn and that the autonomous vehicle project which was now developing rapidly and receiving glowing praise from the industry.
After Trevor left, Linda chuckled smugly again and said, "So what if Celeste works hard? No matter how hard she tries, Matthias will never give her a company worth billions.
"She could work her entire life and still never reach the starting point you had!
After several days, the bidding results for the smart traffic project would finally be announced.
On the day of the announcement, Wynn accompanied Howard to the venue. They arrived fairly early and were feeling confident about their chances.
As a result, they chatted easily with the other bidding participants, smiling and relaxed.
Celeste and Matthias were the last to arrive.
When Wynn and Howard saw them, they froze.
As far as they knew, YodaVision hadn't participated in this bid. So, why were they here?
But the fact that Celeste and Matthias showed up could only mean one thing.
In that moment of realization, the confidence and ease on Wynn and Howard's faces vanished. Because in front of YodaVision, even with Trevor's backing, their odds of winning were slim.
Without acknowledging Wynn or Howard, Celeste and Matthias walked straight past them and took their seats amidst the astonished crowd.

I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
