Hearing Linda's words, Wynn's hand froze mid-air, the spoonful of soup pausing halfway to her lips.
But she quickly composed herself, so the others didn't notice anything unusual.
Harvey asked, "Wynn, has Trevor come back from his business trip?"
Wynn's eyelashes trembled slightly.
How could she admit she had no idea he was even back in the country? Trevor... He hadn't told her a thing.
She had tried calling him earlier today, but he never answered. She'd assumed he was just busy—
Before she could reply, Harvey went on with a smile. "Last time, we really owed Trevor a lot for his help. I've been meaning to invite him over for dinner, but since you said he was abroad on business, I held off. Now that he's back, ask him when he's free, alright?"
Erin nodded in agreement. "Yes, we should definitely have Trevor here for a meal."
Pulled back to herself, Wynn forced a smile. "Alright, I know. I'll ask him later."
With that, the conversation shifted.
As for Linda's remark about Trevor and Celeste being out together, neither the Lockets nor the Shaws gave it a second thought.
They all assumed Trevor was the same as ever—eyes only for Wynn, never for Celeste.
To them, the only reason he'd be out with Celeste was because of Jordyn. They were sure he must have already told Wynn about it.
And Wynn understood their way of thinking.
She used to think the same herself. That was why she had never taken Celeste seriously.
But now—
The food tasted like nothing in her mouth. Wynn set down her bowl and stood up. "I'll head upstairs."
Lilian, noticing Wynn's poor complexion and remembering she'd prepared the nourishing soup for her, saw the unfinished bowl and said gently, "Wynn, why don't you have a little more?"
Before she could react, Jordyn had already been dazzled by the gleaming drum kits on display and eagerly tugged her inside.
None of the drum sets had price tags, but even without knowing instruments, Celeste could tell from the decor and the craftsmanship that every set here must cost a small fortune.
Still, neither she nor Trevor lacked money—if it was for Jordyn, they could easily afford the best.
Jordyn was bursting with energy. In no time, she'd dashed through the entire store, liking nearly every set she saw.
Trevor stayed close to Celeste, following along at a measured pace as Jordyn darted around.
When he saw she'd finally looked at everything, he said, "If you like one, try it."
"Really?" Jordyn looked up at the store manager.
"Of course," the manager replied with a smile, then began teaching her.
Celeste stayed where she was, watching. Trevor, however, caught her wrist gently. "Come sit for a while."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
why is there not 5 episodes updated daily like the others on this website...
I read this novel recently. I just feel, it is exhausting being in Celeste shoes. Not getting a clear break, on the other side - Trevor is comfortably two timing and dragging. He is not really worth and should face the consequences. On the other hand, i also feel that probably he is putting on a mask to push Celeste to achieve her dreams and eventually became a hero. However, his attitude and physical relationship with Wynn - is not justifying my this theory. Let's just wait and watch, i hope it is not too much of a drag...
Depressing if Trevor give up Celeste and propose to his mistress! Poor Jordyn. Thank goodness,I am busy with patients' issues. I can stop here....
Will it make difference to Trevor if he knows how his mistress family malign the mother of his daughter even if he and Celeste are divorcing for his mistress?...
Please update atleast 3 chapters a day......
