Xavier had seen it too. But both of them only caught a glimpse of the woman's back. They didn't see the face clearly.
Even so, Jorge instinctively assumed the figure was Wynn. After all, Wynn was indeed very close to Trevor's daughter.
After glancing a few more times and seeing Jordyn happily throw herself into that person's arms, he didn't look again.
Turning to Xavier, he said, "Let's go."
Xavier had also assumed that person was Wynn. Hearing Jorge say that, he was a little surprised. "You're not going to say hi?"
Jorge didn't explain. He simply said, "Let's go," in a calm tone.
And so, they left.
On the other side, Celeste hadn't noticed them at all.

Meanwhile, at the Locket residence, it was already five in the afternoon.
Wynn picked up her phone and called Trevor, wanting to ask him out for dinner. The call went through, but no one answered.
20 minutes passed, and there was still no reply. She held the phone in silence for a while, then put it down without calling again.
After a moment, she went downstairs to get something to drink.
Just as she reached downstairs, Lilian and Erin happened to return from their outing.
Wynn greeted them. "You're back."
Lilian hummed a response while setting her bag down, then noticed Wynn was still wearing the same casual pajamas from that morning.
"You've been home all day? Not going out?"
"No."
Neither Lilian nor Erin paid much attention to the fact that they had run into Celeste and Trevor at the restaurant earlier.
They had simply assumed the three of them had gone out to eat together and naturally figured Wynn must already know.
So, they didn't mention it in front of her.
Jordyn had had a wonderful day.
There were plenty of fun activities around the orchard, and she was eager to stay overnight, especially after hearing that the stars would be especially bright tonight.
She wanted to stay and watch them from the rooftop.
However, Celeste didn't want to stay. "I didn't bring any change of clothes," she said. "Next time."
But Trevor spoke up before she could end the discussion. "If you need clothes, Peter can prepare some."
"Yeah!" Jordyn chimed in quickly, eyes shining. "Dad and I didn't bring any either, but someone can get them for us—it's really fast!"
Celeste couldn't say anything. She glanced at Trevor, frowning slightly.
Trevor poured her a glass of water and said with a faint smile, "You've been busy with work lately, haven't you? Why not take this chance to relax a bit?"
Celeste frowned again.
Was that really the issue here?

I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
Beck being the only actual adult to ask a child what’s wrong...
Can we get to the point its stagnant and I am unimpressed,I don't care about the company being in trouble nor the inner thoughts of others. Come on now....

Wynn has no shame. And keeping the staff well beyond their work hours is an a-hole move....
I am again fed up with the storyline..it is just exhausting to keep reading only one side of story - where people are living in their own righteous bubble and assumptions....
