Trevor already had a major appointment arranged in the morning for two days later. He must've realized that. Otherwise, he wouldn't have told Jacob to make adjustments.
Still, Jacob hesitated. "That day, you're meeting Mr. Lytton. He's coming all the way here... If you suddenly change the schedule, won't it be—"
Trevor didn't reply. He just gave him a look.
That look was enough as Jacob immediately understood that Trevor knew exactly how important that meeting with Hugh Lytton was, but had decided to prioritize the press conference anyway.
Since the decision was made, Jacob could only say, "Alright. I'll contact Mr. Lytton's team to reschedule."
The collaboration project with YodaVision was indeed significant, but with other senior staff attending the press conference, there was really no need for Trevor to go personally.
Thinking of that, Jacob added, "The PR department probably isn't aware that you're attending either. I'll inform them—"
The venue was packed with reporters from around the world.
It was a win-win partnership for both Fleming Group and YodaVision, so Celeste and the head of Fleming Group's R&D department were naturally required to attend.
When it was about time, she and Lazarus went up to the stage and took their seats at the table according to the nameplates.
As soon as she sat down, she spotted Trevor in the audience.
She hadn't been looking for him specifically. It was just that he happened to be seated directly below her, making him hard to miss.
Perhaps noticing her gaze, Trevor looked up and smiled faintly at her.
Celeste froze for a moment, then quickly looked away as if she hadn't seen him.
After greeting Trevor, Lazarus sat down beside her and leaned over slightly. "I heard Mr. Fleming was so pleased with our results that he personally made time to attend this press conference."
Celeste nodded slightly, saying nothing.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
