Celeste was unaware of what Harvey and Lennox were thinking.
Her expression remained unchanged as she chatted about work with Lazarus and the others while they ate.
After the meal, Celeste and Lazarus's group left the private room and prepared to head downstairs, only to run into Harvey and his group again.
This time, however, it was different from earlier. Wynn and Lilian were also present, making the group noticeably larger.
The Lockets and the Shaws also saw Celeste.
Linda and Lennox's expressions immediately turned cold when they saw her.
Lazarus and the others noticed this and gave an awkward smile.
Wynn, however, looked completely normal. She didn't even glance at Celeste, as if Celeste wasn't worth her attention at all.
Just as Wynn was about to greet Lazarus and the others, someone happened to walk toward the elevator.
When they saw who it was, not only Wynn, but also Harvey and Lazarus froze, instantly falling silent.
Celeste had her side turned toward the newcomers and didn't know who they were.
Sensing the sudden change in everyone's expressions, she was about to turn her head when the other party had already recognized her.
A refined yet authoritative face immediately broke into a smile. "Cel?"
Celeste was startled. When she turned around, she realized the person was Kael.
Of course, Kael wasn't alone—there were also several other prominent figures commonly seen in political circles.
Celeste came back to her senses. "Mr. Gendric."
Kael walked over, his smile unchanged. "Out having a meal with friends?"
Celeste nodded obediently. "Yes."

As she spoke, she leaned close to Linda's ear and quietly told her the identities of Kael and his group.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
