"He arrived early?"
"Yes. He was already here around 8:00 pm."
Jorge fell silent. His gaze cut through the dense crowd and landed on Trevor.
Trevor was deep in conversation at the moment, showing no sign of preparing to leave.
So, he wasn't planning to attend InnovaTech's banquet after all?
Just then, Trevor also noticed him and raised his glass with a smile in his direction. Before they could exchange anything further, Matthias and Celeste walked over to Jorge.
"Sorry for the lack of welcome earlier. Please forgive us, Mr. Robinson."
Jorge withdrew his gaze. "Mr. Yoder, Ms. Rodriguez, you're too polite."
Before they had the chance to exchange more pleasantries, Beck arrived as well. "Sorry, things were a bit hectic today. I'm late."
Compared to his attitude toward Jorge, Matthias was noticeably warmer and more courteous with Beck. "No problem at all. You being able to make it is already an honor for YodaVision, Mr. Harper."
Jorge noticed that Beck hadn't gone to InnovaTech's banquet either.
Given how closely the Harper Corporation and YodaVision worked together, if Beck had to choose just one banquet to attend, coming to YodaVision did make more sense.
Still, Jorge had heard that Beck and Wynn were on good terms. With InnovaTech needing both him and Trevor to help hold the fort, as a friend, Beck should have lent a hand no matter what.
Beck really had been busy lately.
Just to see Celeste, he had pushed aside an important work arrangement and rushed over, barely making it in time for YodaVision's banquet.
What he hadn't expected was that Trevor was still here this late into the night.
When Trevor saw Beck arrive, he walked over. "You're here."
Beck smiled and clinked glasses with him. "Mm."

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
