Jordyn finally brightened up.
She said happily, "Then... Tomorrow I want to go over and spend the New Year with you and Granny."
"Okay," Celeste agreed without hesitation. She was naturally happy too.
"What do you want to eat tomorrow? I can make it for you."
Jordyn rattled off several dish names in one go, and Celeste agreed to every single one.
After chatting for a while longer, Celeste hung up.
The next day, Celeste got up early and went out with her uncle and aunt to buy groceries.
After they returned, Celeste was in the kitchen making ravioli with her aunt when the sound of a car came from outside.
Adeline smiled. "That should be Jo arriving."
Celeste nodded. After finishing the dumpling in her hands, she washed up and walked out of the kitchen.
The moment she stepped out, she froze when she saw Trevor standing at the door.
Jordyn ran over excitedly. "Mom, we're here!"
Celeste snapped back to her senses, nodded, then unconsciously looked at Trevor again.
The rest of the Rodriguez family was also surprised to see him.
After a brief pause, they quickly stood up and politely invited him inside.
Trevor had brought a lot of gifts—so many that the coffee table in the living room was completely covered.
Seeing this, the Rodriguez family felt a little embarrassed. "You didn't have to bring so much. Coming over was already enough."
"It's only proper," Trevor replied as he sat down.
Celeste also recovered from her surprise and went over to pour him a glass of water.
"Thank you," he said as he took it.
Noticing the apron tied around her waist, dusted with a bit of flour, he asked, "Making ravioli?"
"Yes."
Jordyn chimed in eagerly, "It's the filling I like, right?"

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
