Celeste returned to work at YodaVision as usual soon.
Two days later, she attended a government meeting as a representative of YodaVision.
When she arrived at the venue and was about to take a seat, she spotted Wynn.
Wynn saw her as well but quickly looked away.
However, after scanning the entire conference hall with her gaze, Wynn still didn't see Trevor.
Just when she thought Trevor wouldn't appear, he finally arrived moments before the meeting was about to begin.
Wynn instantly let out a sigh of relief.
Yet when she saw Trevor take the seat next to Celeste, the faint smile that had just appeared on her lips immediately faded, and a trace of disappointment appeared in her eyes.
Over there, after sitting down, Trevor said to Celeste, "Morning."
Celeste replied, "...Morning."
After that, she turned her face away and ignored him.
The meeting soon began, and Trevor didn't speak again.

Just then, Celeste returned from the restroom and saw Trevor and Wynn talking together.
Her expression didn't change. She was about to return to her seat when several corporate representatives attending the government meeting took the initiative to strike up a conversation with her.
After a short while, she finished exchanging pleasantries with them and returned to her seat just as the meeting resumed.
When the meeting ended, Celeste chatted with a few people for a while before leaving.
Wynn paused briefly before replying, "...Alright."
She stood there for a long time, watching Trevor's departing figure.
InnovaTech and Locket Tech lacked technical support; she knew that very well.
But even with technical support, without funding, how could they sustain further project development?
Both InnovaTech and Locket Tech were short on funds now. She didn't believe Trevor didn't know that.
He knew, yet he didn't mention it at all, instead deliberately steering the conversation toward recommending technical experts.
That clearly meant he had no intention of helping.
After a while, Wynn finally came back to her senses, turned around, and returned to InnovaTech.
Just after she arrived, Linda couldn't help asking, "Wynn, did you see Trev?"
Wynn nodded.
Linda and the others immediately brightened up.
"So? Did you tell him about the company's situation?"

I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....

Wynn has no shame. And keeping the staff well beyond their work hours is an a-hole move....
I am again fed up with the storyline..it is just exhausting to keep reading only one side of story - where people are living in their own righteous bubble and assumptions....
