There was still a lot to handle in the project with Quincy and Trevor.
The next day, when Celeste showed up as scheduled to discuss matters, Quincy was there, but Trevor wasn't.
He had sent one of his senior executives to attend the meeting in his place.
From the early preparation stage to the official collaboration and up until now, Trevor had always been personally involved in the discussions. This was the first time he was absent.
Not only that, but Trevor still didn't show up over the next few meetings.
However, Celeste remained as calm as ever.
To her, as long as the collaboration progressed smoothly, it didn't matter who represented the other party.
Having worked with Celeste for some time now, Quincy genuinely admired her. Not only was she highly capable, but she also kept her personal and professional lives strictly separated.
All this time, her past with Trevor had never affected the progress of their collaboration.
After the meeting, Quincy gave Trevor a call. "Honestly, Celeste's work ability is really impressive. But she truly has no feelings for you anymore."
"Is that so?" Trevor replied.
"You're still at the hospital, right? I happen to have some time now. Want me to drop by?"
A few days earlier, Quincy had already heard about the incident involving Trevor and Wynn when it had just happened.
As Trevor's friend, it was only right for him to visit Wynn, but he had been too busy to get away.
Quincy had never met Wynn before.
Now that the collaboration between Celeste, Quincy, and Trevor was underway, Wynn, along with the Lockets and the Shaws, was all aware of it.
They simply hadn't had the chance to ask about it earlier due to the strain in Wynn and Trevor's relationship.

I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
