On Monday, after dropping Jordyn off at school, Celeste went to meet Quincy and his team to discuss work matters.
By the time she and Kieran arrived, Trevor was already there as well.
Seeing them, Trevor greeted them politely.
They met twice more over the next few days, but as before, they only discussed work. Other than that, they had no personal interaction whatsoever.
Lincoln had been recovering well over the past few days. By Saturday, arrangements had already been made for him to be discharged and continue recuperating at home.
Martha was overjoyed and personally went to the hospital to pick him up. But the moment she pushed open the door, she saw Wynn inside.
Wynn and Trevor had also just arrived. She handed the flowers in her hands to Lincoln. "Mr. Fleming, congratulations on your discharge. I'm wishing you a speedy recovery as well."
Lincoln wasn't particularly fond of Wynn either. But he couldn't help the fact that his son liked her.
From the time of his accident until now, he had been hospitalized for nearly half a month. And Wynn had never shown up even once.
He knew it was most likely because Martha had forbidden her from coming to visit.
Now, despite knowing that Martha disliked Wynn, Trevor had still deliberately brought her here on the day of his discharge. So, Lincoln simply smiled faintly and accepted the flowers from Wynn under the circumstances.
"Thank you."
At that moment, Trevor and Wynn also noticed Martha standing at the door.
Martha's face immediately turned cold. Looking directly at Wynn, she asked sharply, "Who allowed you to come here?"
Standing beside Trevor, Wynn just lowered her head. She had a dry smile but didn't respond.
Martha pressed her lips together and turned to Trevor, clearly furious. Just as she was about to speak, Lincoln gave a light cough, worried that they would start arguing.
"Mom, everything's packed. Let's head home first."
Martha stared coldly at her. "There won't be a next time. The Fleming family will never welcome you."
Wynn didn't argue. She merely lowered her eyes.
Trevor probably didn't want to make things even more unpleasant with his family on the day Lincoln was discharged. So, he simply said to Wynn, "Text me when you get home."
Wynn just smiled. "Okay."
Wynn walked with the Fleming family all the way to their car. She politely said after they got into the car, "Take care, Mr. Fleming. Goodbye."
Lincoln gave her a courteous nod and smile.
Trevor then looked at her and said, "You should head back too."

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....
Very slow in updating chapters😔.... Tat too only one... It vil be useful if updates have 5 chap a day or atleast 3 per day...

Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
