Wynn had a calm expression and said nothing.
Perhaps Trevor was too focused on his conversation and didn't notice, but she saw that Beck had immediately gone to look for Celeste the moment he arrived.
It could be said that in Beck's eyes and mind, he only saw and thought about Celeste.
Jorge also saw Celeste and Matthias, but he did not go over to greet them. Instead, he looked for Wynn's figure.
After seeing Wynn, he walked straight toward her.
However, before he could say much to Wynn, he was surrounded by people who wanted to discuss matters with him.
Inside the venue, Celeste and Matthias were both very busy. So were Trevor and Jorge.
Wynn seemed somewhat of an exception compared to them.
He cut Wynn off by saying, "Sorry, Ms. Locket. I have something to discuss with Ms. Rodriguez, so please excuse me."
Wynn immediately froze. The smile on her face stiffened for a moment, but she quickly regained a composed expression.
"Alright, please go ahead then. We can talk another time when you're available."
"Of course."
Although he said that, Rodney's attitude seemed perfunctory. He quickly left after that as he seemed extremely eager to speak with Celeste.
Wynn slowly clenched her hand into a fist and pressed her lips together, her gaze instinctively drifted toward Celeste.
Unlike where she stood, which was rather quiet, Celeste's side was crowded with people.

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....
