The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor) novel Chapter 747

Trevor still had other matters to attend to.

So, after the meal, he arranged for his driver to take Wynn and Quentin back before leaving the restaurant.

In the car, Quentin looked at Wynn and asked, "Has Celeste been bullying you lately?"

Although they had spoken during the conference a few days ago, there had been too many people around. So, they didn't have the chance to talk privately.

Now seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Wynn's gaze darkened slightly at his question. "Other than matters related to YodaVision, she doesn't really have the ability to bully me."

Hearing that, Quentin assumed she simply looked down on Celeste's methods.

In his view, Celeste would still be a nobody without YodaVision and Matthias, even though she had achieved some success through underhanded means.

Wynn clearly didn't think much of her.

But Quentin's heart sank. The fact that Wynn thought so little of Celeste meant that she probably still didn't know about Celeste and Trevor.

She had underestimated just how shameless Celeste was and didn't expect Celeste to go so far as to make a move on Trevor as well.

Noticing his hesitation and sensing that he wanted to say something, Wynn asked, "What is it?"

Quentin paused.

He finally found his voice after a moment of hesitation. "Nothing. It's just that after seeing her these past few days, she seems pretty pleased with herself. I feel like she might be even more despicable and shameless than we thought. I'm worried she might find other ways to hurt you."

Back at Fleming Group, the engineers working with CodeFlux, along with CodeFlux's staff, gathered around Celeste to listen to her explain various technical issues during the afternoon tea break.

But Quentin didn't go.

When his colleagues returned after the break, all they could talk about was how impressive Celeste was.
