The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor) novel Chapter 764

Wynn took the initiative to introduce herself. "Professor Lancaster, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Wynn Locket."

Philip nodded and shook her head. Just then, his assistant informed him that several of his friends had arrived.

Patting Trevor on the shoulder, he said, "I'm going to greet some friends first. We'll talk later."

"Of course."

A short while later, Beck and Miles arrived as well.

Miles walked over with Beck after he spotted Trevor and Wynn.

"You two are unbelievable. I tagged both of you in the group chat earlier, but neither of you replied. I thought you'd be coming later, but you were already here."

Trevor took out his phone and glanced at it. "My apologies. I was picking someone up at the time and didn't notice my phone."

Miles raised an eyebrow, his gaze teasingly moving between Trevor and Wynn. "Oh? So neither of you had time to check your phones?"

Trevor smiled. "Is there a problem?"

Miles was left speechless.

Wynn couldn't help laughing.

Seeing Miles grind his teeth in mock frustration, Trevor lifted his glass. "How about I finish this as an apology, Mr. Quinton?"

"At least two glasses. One for each of you. Unless you're planning to drink Wynn's share too?" Miles said with a grin.

"I'll drink on her behalf."

Beck watched the exchange quietly, his gaze lingering on Trevor and Wynn.

Trevor was drinking a cocktail with a fairly low alcohol content. After exchanging a few more jokes with Miles, he noticed Beck looking at him.

"What is it?"

"Nothing," Beck answered. He simply thought that Trevor and Wynn's relationship seemed as close as ever. That thought inevitably reminded him of Celeste.

He'd already heard people talking about her the moment he had entered the banquet hall. He knew she and Matthias had arrived.

However, the hall was huge and crowded with guests. So, he still hadn't spotted her.
