Before Trevor could respond, Wynn answered gracefully, "I'm flattered."
Philip smiled and nodded before asking what she was working on these days.
"I've been managing InnovaTech since Trevor handed it over to me last year, as a way to gain experience. But I'm ashamed to say I haven't achieved anything particularly noteworthy yet," Wynn replied.
Philip smiled. "Research doesn't produce results overnight. It's perfectly normal not to see major breakthroughs right away."
The conversation continued, revolving around various AI-related topics. As more people joined in, the discussion remained lively and engaging.
Some of those present had heard of Wynn before but had never really known much about her. After chatting with her, several of them couldn't hide their surprise.
"I didn't expect Ms. Locket to have such an in-depth understanding of so many different AI disciplines. Very impressive."
Wynn smiled modestly, "You're too kind."
Harvey and Lilian were standing not far away. Smiles finally appeared on their faces after hearing others praise Wynn.
In truth, they had long hoped Wynn could join Philip's research team. After all, he led one of the world's top AI research teams. If Wynn could study under him for a few years, she would surely achieve great things of her own.
Although Philip's standing in the country wasn't quite on Zachary's level, he had significant international influence. More importantly, his extensive connections around the world were unmatched.
Not to mention that two scientists trained under him before had already gone on to become internationally renowned researchers.
They had brought this idea up with Trevor several days earlier, and he had agreed to help.
Now, seeing how highly Philip and the others regarded Wynn's professional knowledge, they felt increasingly confident that the plan would succeed.

He then asked in detail what progress she had made during those two years.
InnovaTech had achieved some results over that period, so Wynn described them.

"If you've been out of your PhD for nearly two years and still haven't produced any breakthrough work of your own… That's honestly not quite enough," he said carefully.
After all, among the PhD graduates in his institute, most had already established a clear research direction and made tangible progress within six months of graduating.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
This is exhausting! Even with the truth spilled why are we so focused on the nonessential characters assumptions and opinions. This is spending not enough time on the MC. The ping pong of revelations and denial with corrections. Same exhausting pattern 😭😡...
I still feel we are too far from the closure..Author is just playing with us by updating the chapters excruciatingly slow and then with every chapter - revolving around the bush. People are still finding reasons to defend Wynn. I am afraid, the author will again leave the readers hanging, letting the rest of the story unfold after probably 1000 more chapters...
One chapter?! After 4 days of no updates 🤯...
This is Sisa, I want to put her underground... What kind of talk is this, man? She's taking advantage of Jordyn being here....
Y no updates... Frustrated...
The one-page updates have stopped again. It’s been 4 days since the last one-page update. There never was a promised 5 chapter update in the history of this story. It has been dribbled out, line-by-line for a very, very long time. Please end our torture and finish this story....
No update in four days… The cliffhangers are dreadful...
Please update...
I hope this isn’t another story where the husband lets all this happen just to say he was in love with her all along and was doing this to humiliate and get back the people who wronged her and her family. That just doesn’t make sense and if it is I hope the writer doesn’t have Celeste take him back and hope Caleb is her guy because Beck knew the full truth and decided to come to terms with who Celeste was after years of bullying her too....
Y no updates😔...
