Wynn was in a good mood as well. "My conversation with him was interrupted halfway through. But from what he said, it shouldn't be a problem," she said with a smile.
Linda nearly burst with excitement the moment Wynn finished speaking. "Ah! I knew it! I knew you could do it, Wynn!"
She hadn't truly understood what it meant to become Philip's personal student before.
But someone had explained his standing in the AI world and told her that several of his proteges had already risen to the forefront of the AI industry, becoming influential leaders whose reputation far surpassed even Matthias's.
In her mind, if Wynn truly became Philip's student, it wouldn't be long before she surpassed Matthias in both prestige and earning power.
So, how could she not be thrilled?
And it wasn't just Linda. Ruby, Lilian, and Harvey felt the same way.
Lilian smiled as she gently patted the back of Wynn's hand. "I've heard that Professor Lancaster has incredibly high standards for his personal students. Once you're accepted, work hard and don't disappoint him."
Wynn smiled. "I will."
She would treasure this opportunity with everything she had. No one wanted to seize it more than she did.
With that thought in mind, she looked toward Celeste in the distance.
Philip did the same. "So you're Ms. Locket's family. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Afterward, Trevor and the others resumed the conversation they had been having earlier. Harvey and Lilian remained with the group as well.
Some time later, they stepped away.
Usually, people from different social circles rarely dared to approach Trevor and those around him to strike up conversations.
As a result, most had been watching them cautiously from the sidelines.
But now, seeing Philip and many others treating them with courtesy, people quickly gathered around to introduce themselves and strike up conversations once Harvey and Lilian stepped away from the group.

Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
