The sudden voice immediately drew everyone's attention back to the stage.
Celeste and Matthias were standing relatively close to the stage, so they instantly recognized the person who had appeared.
It was Quentin.
The two exchanged a brief glance. Combined with what Quentin had just said, they had already figured out exactly what he was trying to do.
Another interruption made Philip frown.
Seeing this, Thomas immediately walked toward Quentin. "Sir, Professor Lancaster has something important to handle right now. If you have any questions, perhaps you could wait until later and find an opportunity to—"
Quentin didn't even look at him. His eyes remained fixed on Philip. "Professor Lancaster, please don't misunderstand. I have no intention of deliberately causing trouble. I'm simply curious.
"Because as far as I know, Ms. Locket—the CEO of InnovaTech and Mr. Fleming's girlfriend—also wanted to study under you. Yet you rejected her just now.
"Why? Is it because you think Celeste is more outstanding than her?"
The Lockets and Shaws, along with Narcissa and the others, were standing farther away from the stage. But the moment Quentin appeared, they recognized him as well.
And once they understood what he was trying to do, their expressions immediately changed, especially Harvey and Lilian.
Jorge naturally knew about the conflict between Quentin, YodaVision, and Wynn.
Seeing Quentin suddenly appear on stage surprised him, but after hearing his first sentence, he actually smiled, his entire body relaxing.
Xavier didn't know who Quentin was. Watching the situation unfold, he leaned toward Jorge. "What's going on?"
Jorge smiled. "He's the one who originally recommended Ms. Locket to join YodaVision."
Xavier immediately understood. "Fuck! So he's here to expose Celeste? We're actually going to get a show?"
Jorge looked toward the stage and raised the corner of his lips and hummed a response.
Caleb also overheard Jorge and Xavier's conversation and paused himself.
When Jorge noticed his gaze, the smile on his face faded slightly. Xavier also became awkward, scratching his head as he suddenly didn't know what to say.

So, the moment Quentin spoke, a wave of shocked murmurs swept through the banquet hall. Everyone began looking around for Wynn.
Although many people didn't know who Quentin was, they could tell from his words that he seemed to be standing up for Wynn.
Wynn's hand tightened around her wineglass until her knuckles turned white. She forced herself to calm down with all her strength.
Then she put on a faint smile, maintaining the composure and dignity expected of her.
She immediately walked toward the stage and quickly spoke. "Mr. Quentin, I indeed—"
But at the same moment, Philip spoke as well. Holding the microphone, his voice completely overshadowed hers.
He looked at Quentin. "Are you Ms. Locket's friend?"
Quentin answered, "Yes."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
Beck being the only actual adult to ask a child what’s wrong...
Can we get to the point its stagnant and I am unimpressed,I don't care about the company being in trouble nor the inner thoughts of others. Come on now....
Its a good thing both jordan parents are loaded. They going to spend a lot for Jordan therapy. 😂...
Wynn has no shame. And keeping the staff well beyond their work hours is an a-hole move....
