Matthias first handed his phone to his secretary.
Then he looked at Quentin as though he had just heard the most ridiculous joke. "Mr. Yallop, you're overthinking this. Just because the woman you admire happens to be despicable, you think everyone else is just like her?"
Hearing Matthias openly disparage Wynn, Quentin finally snapped back to reality. "You—"
Matthias had no interest in hearing him out.
He cut him off and suddenly said, "You just said that you and Ms. Locket both joined YodaVision because of our Cuap programming language, right? A lot of people assume I developed Cuap myself, but I believe I already told you back then that it wasn't my work."
Quentin froze. "Yes, you did..."
He couldn't understand why Matthias had suddenly brought this up. Then a thought flashed through his mind.
In an instant, he understood what Matthias was getting at. His eyes widened in shock as he looked between Matthias and Celeste.
"Y-You mean..."
Everyone in the industry knew about YodaVision's programming language, Cuap.
So, hearing Matthias suddenly bring it up and openly state that he wasn't its creator, many of the industry insiders immediately understood what he meant.
They, including Philip, turned toward Celeste in utter disbelief.
Kieran was equally stunned.
He had also joined YodaVision because of Cuap. Given how recently Celeste had joined the company, even after learning just how capable she actually was, he had never once considered the possibility that Cuap had been developed by her.
But now that he understood what Matthias was implying, excitement filled his eyes as he looked at Celeste.
Lilian and Harvey weren't industry insiders, but because of Wynn, they knew just how influential and valuable Cuap was within the field.
So naturally, they too understood what Matthias was implying. Lilian looked up in shock while Harvey was equally stunned.
If Cuap had really been developed by Celeste, just how incredible was her ability?
The others began whispering among themselves.
"She developed a programming language that advanced more than ten years ago? She would've only been around 16 or 17 back then!"
"Holy crap. That's insane!"
"Yeah!"
She had known for a long time that Celeste was Zachary's student and the founder of YodaVision.
She clenched her hands tightly.
As the crowd's astonished exclamations filled the room, she kept her head lowered and didn't dare look up.

Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
