Before the Lockets and Shaws even had time to react, court officials arrived and began sealing off the company's servers and source code.
There was quite a commotion at Locket Tech, and it didn't take long for news of the Locket family's troubles to spread.
Miles and Beck received the news soon after. They hadn't been in contact with Trevor since the previous night.
They already knew about everything that had been posted online after the banquet, and now something like this had happened to the Locket family…
Miles said, "In this situation, it'd be difficult for Trevor to step in and help, wouldn't it?"
If Trevor helped the Locket family now and word got out, the public backlash would only become even more explosive.
Beck said, "Yeah."
Miles couldn't help asking, "Do you think... This could have been done by Celeste?"
After all, YodaVision and Velotra had a very close business relationship.
Something like this had happened at the banquet the night before, and then the Locket family's company ran into trouble right afterward. It seemed like too much of a coincidence.

After the banquet the previous night, Miles had actually sent someone to Youtopia to investigate. By now, he was certain that everything Matthias had said about the Lockets and Shaws was true.
Miles couldn't help asking, "What do you think Trevor is thinking?"
Although he asked the question, he felt that Trevor probably wouldn't break up with Wynn because of what had happened the previous night.
Beck just hummed. He felt the same way.
Miles fell silent.
After a while, he sent Trevor a message. "Do you need Beck and me to help?"
After finishing her conversation with Matthias, Celeste exited the call and saw an unread message from Hannah.
"Jo fell asleep last night, but she was still feeling down. Mrs. Fleming, if you have time, why don't you give Jo a call and talk to her?"
After reading the message, Celeste checked her phone. Jordyn hadn't messaged her or called her.
Even so, Celeste still called Jordyn.
The phone rang for a while, but no one answered.
Celeste called twice more. When there was still no answer, she had no choice but to hang up.

Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
Beck being the only actual adult to ask a child what’s wrong...
Can we get to the point its stagnant and I am unimpressed,I don't care about the company being in trouble nor the inner thoughts of others. Come on now....
