After the ceremony ended, the parents gradually began leaving. Celeste and Trevor were getting ready to leave as well.
Celeste said, "I'm leaving now. If you need anything, call me, okay?"
Jordyn nodded. "Okay."
Seeing that Celeste seemed to have finished saying goodbye, Trevor gently pinched Jordyn's cheek. "I will come pick you up after school this afternoon, okay?"
Jordyn paused and slightly turned her head toward Celeste.
Clearly, she wanted to hear Celeste say those words to her instead. However, Celeste happened to have an incoming call and didn't notice her daughter's gaze.
Jordyn withdrew her gaze. "Okay."
Then she turned back to Celeste. "Mom, you can go ahead and take care of your work. I'll go back to my classroom first. Class is about to start."
Celeste smiled. "Okay."
Jordyn waved goodbye, and Trevor and Celeste watched her leave.
Celeste didn't answer the call earlier, so after seeing Jordyn enter her classroom, she picked up her phone and returned the call.
"I have something else to take care of. I'll go first," Trevor told her.
Celeste paused for a moment, then nodded.
Trevor picked up his phone and made a call. Then, he headed toward the parking lot while talking on the phone.
Celeste was heading back to YodaVision as well.
So, they both went toward the parking lot, but there was some distance between them. To anyone who didn't know them, they might as well have been complete strangers.
When they reached the parking lot, they each got into their own cars, and soon drove away.
After their cars had left, another car not far away slowly pulled out as well. The person sitting inside was Wynn.
She knew Jordyn was starting school today, so she'd made a special trip over.

After all, they still hadn't officially divorced.
Celeste didn't think much of it and answered casually, "I went to my daughter's school opening ceremony."
"...Oh, I see."
If that was the case, then she'd obviously run into Trevor.
Of course, Kieran didn't ask about that. He quickly composed himself and moved on to work.
After they finished discussing their work, Matthias came in to talk to Celeste about some of her upcoming work arrangements. By the time they finished, it was almost noon.
Matthias stretched and couldn't help asking, "You saw him today. Did you bring up the divorce again?"
Celeste shook her head. "I thought about it, but I don't think he'll agree."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
Beck being the only actual adult to ask a child what’s wrong...
Can we get to the point its stagnant and I am unimpressed,I don't care about the company being in trouble nor the inner thoughts of others. Come on now....
Its a good thing both jordan parents are loaded. They going to spend a lot for Jordan therapy. 😂...
Wynn has no shame. And keeping the staff well beyond their work hours is an a-hole move....
