She quickly turned her head and met Nathan's eyes.
The man had approached at some point, and seeing her look over, his gaze held a hint of confusion.
"What's wrong?"
Nora was at a loss for words.
Seriously? This guy suddenly gets in her personal space, this close, and then has the nerve to ask her what's wrong?
Nora mentally rolled her eyes. "If you want to see them, Nathan, I can get you two more copies."
Nathan reached out and straightened the two photos for her.
"No need to go to all that trouble."
With that, he began to examine the pictures closely.
Now Nora couldn't really say anything more. The man was focused on the case.
She couldn't very well interrupt his train of thought over something so minor.
However, she didn't lean in again, instead staring at the two photos.
"Something's not right with these pictures."
As soon as Nora spoke, Nathan leaned back and asked her, "What's not right?"
The others also turned to look at Nora.
Nora had an officer project the two photos onto the screen. With a few quick taps, she circled several unusual spots.
"The sleeve of this jacket is dirty on only one side, which suggests the owner is left-handed."
"He habitually uses his left hand to eat and write, so the sleeve would have rubbed against a table or other surfaces, causing it to get this dirty."
"But look at this other picture."
Nora tapped the second photo.
"When this person got out of the taxi, he used his right hand to close the door."
