Nora raised an eyebrow at Aaron and a similarly shell-shocked Mia, not even bothering to say a word.
Leonard, eager to show off in front of Nora, glared at Mia and scolded, "How dare you ask why?"
"Mia, do you even remember that Nora is your sister? What exactly have you been doing behind my back all these years? Why is your sister's boyfriend living with you?"
"Are you so desperate for a man that you had to reach for hers?"
"Now, in front of everyone involved, you'd better explain yourself clearly, or this isn't over!"
A flash of rage crossed Mia's eyes.
But in front of Leonard, no matter how furious she was, she didn't dare lash out.
She clenched her fists tightly and looked at Leonard, playing the victim. "Dad, what are you saying? Aaron and I are dating normally. Why do you have to make it sound so ugly?"
As if she were that thirsty!
She had only approached Aaron in the first place because she knew he was Nora's boyfriend.
If Aaron hadn't had the title of Nora's boyfriend, she wouldn't have given him a second glance from the start.
She had spent years molding Aaron into what he was today. If she didn't have merit, she at least had hard work to show for it.
Besides, Aaron cheating wasn't solely her fault. Her dad was so biased that he pinned everything on her!
"Sister?"
Aaron's head was heavily bandaged, making him look utterly miserable.
At this moment, his usually affectionate eyes were filled with shock and regret.
Looking at Nora, his lips trembled. "Are... are you and Mia really sisters?"
Although Aaron had guessed as much earlier.
Hearing it confirmed still made his mind go blank for a second.
Men needed comfort, too!
Plus, Mia had zero life skills and was completely unsuited for domestic life.
In contrast, despite her demanding job, Nora managed his life perfectly. Who wouldn't want to marry a woman like that?
A remarkably bright gleam erupted in Aaron's eyes.
He looked at Nora with an almost ecstatic gaze, his tone melting like water. "Nora, why didn't you tell me this sooner?"
At that moment, he completely forgot about Mia and Leonard.
He only had eyes for Nora.
The memories of the past seven years flooded his mind.
It wasn't until this moment that Aaron finally realized he had never truly forgotten Nora.
