The Coldest Man in the Room Melted Only for Me novel Chapter 187

Sebastian paused, processing her panicked explanation. A faint, breathtaking smile curled the corners of his lips. "Mhm."

It was the first time Riley had ever seen him genuinely smile.

His narrow, dark eyes crinkled slightly, the faint lines at the corners radiating the rugged, sexy charm of a mature man. The aggressive sharpness that usually defined his features softened entirely.

He was already a ridiculously gorgeous man, but that smile made him utterly devastating.

The only word that popped into her head was: mesmerizing.

Seeing her staring at him, absolutely completely spellbound, his smile deepened. "Are you getting in?"

Riley snapped out of it, her face burning crimson, and she practically threw herself into the backseat.

She had actually been caught drooling over his face.

Embarrassing!

Mortifyingly embarrassing!

Sebastian closed the door, slid into the driver's seat, and started the engine.

About an hour later, the car pulled up to the main house of the St. John estate.

Riley stepped out with Alora in her arms. Sebastian grabbed the diaper bag and the gifts from the trunk, walking shoulder-to-shoulder with her as they approached the entrance.

Watching them walk in together, Eleanor found the scene surprisingly warm. They looked exactly like a family of three coming home for the holidays.

Riley greeted her politely, "Lady Eleanor. Thank you for having us."

Eleanor snapped back to reality, realizing she must be going crazy wanting a granddaughter-in-law and a great-grandchild to conjure up such a ridiculous thought. "Nonsense. This place is far too quiet. You should come over often and liven things up."
