Quinn arrived at Unity Health Center but couldn't find Riley anywhere. When she asked Riley's former colleagues, they explained that they had planned to grab lunch together, but Pierce had shown up right outside the inpatient building. After that, Riley got into his car and left.

Quinn immediately dialed Pierce's number. "Where is Riley? Where did you take her?"

"Ms. Logan, watch your tone," Pierce replied, his voice laced with annoyance. He could tolerate Riley's temper because she was his wife—he was willing to indulge her. But who the hell did Quinn think she was?

"Where did you take her?" Quinn demanded fiercely. "Do you know that kidnapping is a felony?!"

"Kidnapping? Did you fry your brain fighting court cases? I don't have time for this nonsense."

Quinn called him right back, but he declined it instantly. When she tried a third time, she realized he had blocked her number.

Without missing a beat, Quinn took a cab straight to Landon Enterprises. Scott tried to block her from barging into Pierce's office. "Pierce is illegally detaining Riley. If you keep standing in my way, I'm calling the cops!"

Scott's heart skipped a beat in panic. "Ms. Logan, don't spout nonsense. Spreading rumors carries legal consequences."

"Rumors? Pierce personally picked Riley up from the hospital, and plenty of people saw it. If he hasn't hidden her away, who did?"

Quinn pulled out her phone and started dialing the police.

Realizing she was dead serious, Scott quickly grabbed her hand. "I'll take you to Mr. Landon."

Pierce was sitting at his desk reviewing documents when he heard the commotion at the door. He looked up, his brow furrowing as he saw Scott leading a furious Quinn into the room.
